Hotel was easy to see from I-25, but took a little manovoring to get to. Nice clean rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the two room suite layout. Fast wireless internet. I'd stay there again and recomend it.

good location

Spent two nights at this Hotel. It was clean and fresh. Some of the decor in the rooms seemed a little dated. Loved the suite concept. It was Spring Break and the pools were overflowing with kids, so I passed on them. Also there is no north bound exit at this location from I-25 so you have to circle around to get there. Our (cards)keys stopped working on day 2 and we were parked around the back side. So we had to walk around the motel to get new ones. The staff was super helpful. The location was good as we went to the tram and to old town--motel was right in the middle. There were numerous places to eat close by as well.

Decent affordable hotel

I liked the fact that the suite had two separate rooms w/ a separating door and a TV in each. Worked great allowing kids to watch one TV and parents to watch another. The room was a little dark especially the living area which was on the far end away from the outside window. It only had had a window to the hallway. The beds were nice and comfy, but 2nd floor hallway had a objectionable musty smell. You can tell it is an older hotel, but certain aspects have been updated...new beds, new TVs, updated bathrooms, etc. but still have things that need some attention. Did have some difficulty with the heater / AC working correctly and also had the key card stop working had to go to desk to get it reprogrammed to get into the room. The pool was fairly warm but was very cloudy...don't think they had the pool chemicals adjusted properly. The breakfast was good with fresh made eggs and sausage. Overall it was a decent stay, I would recommend it as an affordable option. That being said, I will probably pay a little more to get a nicer hotel next time I'm in Albuquerque.

Really Good Hotel

We were travelling on a four week holiday in the U.S. and this was one of our more expensive hotels. The hotel and the room justified the price and was even better than expected.

Micro brewery serving food just behind the hotel. Only serves beer and soft drinks. Very popular to locals but a visitor wouldn´t know it was there!

A NIce Hotel

The hotel room and hallways were bery clean and were taken care of. The front desk employee was nice and polite except the communication between staff was lacking, our phone indicated that we had a message, yet they told us that it was just a malfunction and that we didnt have any messages. We were hoping that they had found two water bottles that we had lost, however when we went down to checkout they had said they had a message for us that they had found our water bottles. The pool was very nice and was perfect after a day in the sun. The room was very clean and was very nice. THe only thing wrong was the closet door was not on its tracks which made it impossible to push the slliding door back. Also, we has some trouble with our key cards to get into our room which made it complicated when we had a lot of bags from our days events and we were tired and only wanted to lay down. The hotel overall was very nice and in a good location which made it easy to get around the East side of the town where our family lives. Yet, the road out of the hotel and onto the major road is a nightmare to cross. The hotel is located next to the freeway and there is no stoplight to get out of the road the hotel is located on. We had to cross the bridge over the freeway and turn around at a light then go back over the bridge because it was too hard and dangerous to cross 3 lanes of traffic one way. The breakfast provided by the hotel was another wonderful thing about out visit. There are many choices to choose from for breakfast items, and a person is on staff to make fresh eggs and sausage at request. The muffins were very good and the items all looked very good and fresh. Overall the hotel stay was one of th highlights to our trip besides seeing our family. If we are going to visit our family in Albuquerque again we will most likely stay at the same hotel.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Go out east onto Montgomery and then go down to San Mateo to Manual. The Coranado mall is right on Manual. There are alot of stores on Montgomery and Manual ranging from Walgreens to Barns and Noble. Also, the Zoo is just a quick trip if you jump onto the freeway and go south.

Sightseeing vacation

Hotel was in convenient location. Very clean except carpets which were stained which I guess with that many people going in and out is to be expected. The rest of the establishment was very clean. Pool was very murky and closed 2nd day we were there. Breakfast was adequate. Waffles great except they were not available 2nd day. Staff was cordual not overly friendly, except for breakfast personel. She had a friendly smile and very helpful. For the price it was good.

Oh my!

No hot water, bathtub stopper engaged, and bathtub had water in it, dirty dishes and half-drunk Coca-Cola bottle in room. Staff nice, but overwhelmed. No chance for breakfast--too crowded and a long line waiting--trash can overflowing, not able to keep up with crowd. Overall, not a great experience!

Happy traveler

The front desk rep was really friendly and helpful. I had asked for a room on a higher level because I would feel safer as a single traveler. He was really helpful in accommodating my needs.

Noisy, noisy, noisy

Bed is uncomfortable, extremely hard to get into motel, yelling drunks, kids running around all times day and night, can hear every shower in motel all hours of the night, car horns and flashing lights all night long. Breakfast okay. Staff courteous. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

Three Stars, Really???

I found the location of the hotel bothersome and hard to get in and out of. The rooms were large, but dated. The air conditioner will keep you up at night. Overall I would not rate this as a Three Star location.
