Excellent service, beautiful hotel

My boyfriend and I arrived after 2am, and because of the late hour, our reserved room had to be given away since we hadn't checked in. The manager on duty, however, quickly found us an available room despite the hotel being booked up. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. I'm from Albuquerque, and I loved this location because we were able to jump on the interstate or take Paseo del Norte to any part of town we wanted to go. The best part of the location, though, is its proximity to a plaza with Dos Hermanos (best burritos in town), Starbucks, and a bunch of other food options.

Dos Hermanos is a couple blocks down Jefferson from the hotel, and it has the best New Mexican food (especially the burritos) in town.

Balloon Fiesta

Only a one night stay but very nice motel. Very clean and nice. The waterfall area was decorated like a giant hot air balloon in honor of the Balloon Fiesta week.

Liked the room, very well appointed and even had a small private patio from which you could see the Sandia mountains. Only about 10 min. from the mountain Tram, and the main drag had lots of restaurants to choose from. Also liked the ease of printing boarding passes in the Business Room. The atrium structure made it airy and light, but also a bit noisy and the piped in hallway music was too loud too.

If you want some good barbecue along with "local flavor", make a 10 min. trip to the County Line restaurant on Tramway Blvd.
