Always a pleasure to stay at a Marriott

The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are clean as can be and of course there is the famous Marriott bedding which makes for a great nights sleep. I stay in Marriott's whenever possible and I am never disappointed. The location of this hotel is near the Uptown shopping and entertainment district, so there are plenty of choices of food, shopping and bars.

Western Music Association Weekend

We enjoyed staying at the Marriot for three nights. Asked for a quiet room at checkin and they put us on the 16th floor, quiet room, great view, clean, nice staff etc. Walked to several nice resturants in the area, especially liked Gardunas. Made coffee in the room but had breakfast at La Peeps, great for breakfast and lunch. Will stay there next year.

dirty room

The room was verry dirty. paint pilling off door in bath room and broken furnuture. call front desk to report it they sent up an employee to look at it and he replied ho ya that happens and then left the room with no salution. verry small room had to turn side ways to walk acrossed from on side to the other. not happy with the whole trip the car rental jacked up the price.was not in a position to argue.

Nice place, good stay

For where I needed to be the location was good. The staff was very good. The facility was undergoing improvements but the impact was minimal. Price was higher than I wanted.

View of the Baloon Fiesta!

The Albuquerque Marriott is a quality hotel that is well located and offers a number of guest amenities. I took advantage of the fitness center and pool. My room had a good view out over the valley and the baloon-filled sky. There are a number of good restaurants nearby. Best of all, I got a good deal on the room rate.

The Italian restaurant just west of the hotel is good value and provides a break from the ubiquitous southwest fare.

Great Value

We went to Albuquerque to see the Balloon Fiesta and other attractions. The hotel was close to one of the park and rides areas for the Balloon Fiesta making it easier for us to get to and from the festival. Hotel was in a great location for our needs.

If you plan on attending the Balloon Fiesta, use the park and ride at Coronado Mall but make sure you arrive prior to 5:30AM to make sure you get on the bus since they will stop taking people to the Balloon Fiesta once the balloon start being launched at the park.
