Breakfast at the hotel can be rather pricy, but there are several great breakfast restaurants within a short drive or even within walking distance.

Great location for early morning flights
Luvs to travel Oct 12, 2009
The hotel was recommended by a family member for early morning flights out of the ABQ airport. It is an excellent value in ... that regard. Staff was fantastic and extremely friendly and helpful! The only minus in my experience was the slightly sub-par housekeeping. The sink area in the bathroom has dust bunnies behind the coffee tray and glasses and hairs that were not mine on the cabinet. Bobby pins on the floor. But the bed was clean and comfortable, towels were plentiful. An exra fan was delivered quickly when requested. I'd recommend it for the value!

Best Feature: Proximity to Airport
Westward Bound Aug 9, 2009
This hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but a lot of work needs to be done on it. It has the potential to be great ... after renovation is completed. It is the closest hotel to the airport, which is great for early morning flights. Parking is plentiful. The pool is large and clean. The staff is very friendly and the price was good. However, the two rooms that we had were musty and the carpets were torn and dirty. The floor was also uneven under the thin carpeting. The bed also smelled musty. We could clearly hear conversations in both the next room and the hall. The shower made a terrible drilling type sound. The entrees in the restaurant also seemed to be overpriced.

The hotel is incredibly convenient to the airport. I walked over for my flight. The pool is clean, the food is good, and the ... staff is very friendly. My room was a little cool, and I could not adjust the temperature any lower, but was able to turn it off when it got to be too much for me. Everything was clean, and the bed was nice and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.

I've been staying at this location for 20 years under different owners. I happen to like being able to look out over the ... airport or over the west mesa on the other side. Some people might find the fly overs annoying. The building is getting on in years but the place is clean and the staff have always been the best. Can't beat the proximity to the airport and access to the freeway is easy.

There were a number of eating places besides the hotel, within 2 or 3 blocks. Places such as Applebees, Fuddruckers, good ole Waffle House, and the Village Inn, which was known for it's pancakes. Also nearby was a golf course and driving range, and if you were inclined to drive about a mile, there was shopping and numerous other restaurants.
