Days Inn
Hotel looked run down. Neighbor was a partier and stepped over his stack of beer bottles on way to room. A naked guy in a window when we pulled up. The evening staff was smoking on a curb with a guy when we needed assistance. The pool was closed and looked unkempt. Lots of traffic of young males that made it feel unsafe.

White Sands stopover
The clerks were very friendly. I didn't realize that by saying I didn't need wifi that would affect our cellphones. Bit of a problem for a family member that needed to reach us.The hotel was not as nice as I expected for the price,but it was a sufficient stop for the night. The friendliness of the staff made it much better. My kids enjoyed the breakfast as did I.

Not so worthy
We asked a non-smoking room but they gave us a room with strange smell. What's worse is there were no towels in the room so I had to go to front desk to ask for the towels.

Dissatisfied Traveler
Cockroaches!
It was all fine, except for the 3 large cockroaches in the bathtub! Shocking. The motel otherwise seemed clean, but after seeing the cockroaches, you get the impression it was not. Sorry, but will not stay there next time.

Waling distance to lots of resturants.
Great location at the edge of town. Large pool and within walking distance to a number of resturants and bars. Large parking lots and simple breakfast. The room was well lit and had a good desk to work at with free internt.

dusty, warm room
dusty, warm room. ac did not work well. Furniture not dusted. Front desk did not have tooth brushes.

My review of Days Inn Alamogordo
Days Inn Alamogordo was the right price for the one night that I stayed. I drew a hunting tag for the area, so I was not looking for a vacation hotel. My son swam in the pool and enjoyed the stay.

OVER PRICED
not happy with the service, price, pool or dirty room, do not wear white socks because they will become dirty, floor was nasty, would not want to go bare foot, air conditioner was loud and would over heat and shut off. Pool was small, had hard time getting towells for swimming and bathing. will not stay there again.
