A very pleasant stay
I was pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied with The StarLux. It is walking distance from the beach and at a great location. Our 2 bedroom suite was very large and spotless. The ocean view is nice. Decor and amenities were nice as well. I would definitely reccomend The StarLux.

They let us check in very early. There was no hot water till 4 pm one day. Did not get housekeeping service.

OK Stay
On arrival we had to call the hotel from down the street to find the parking - no marking on the corner lot across the street they were using and not even a street sign at the corner to match their directions to the lot. The room was clean but tightly packed with furniture to get everything needed in. The biggest problem was a lack of hot water during "high use" times - even though water was very hot at off peak times. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Great Place to relax
The Starlux is located conveniently one block from the board walk and another two from the water park. The room was set up a little weird but all in all we had a great time. The room was serviced every day and I never once found anything missing. Good times! Would go again.

The beach. To save money spend as much time at the beach as possible. We also packed sandwiches and chips for lunch. We really only paid for dinner and other junk food.

Nice pool, room less then desirable
My husband and I lived in North Wildwood for 8 years. This was our "first trip" with our 2 young boys. I knew about the Starlux but have never stayed there. I was excited as we pulled up. The check in was quick and easy. Luckily the only luggage cart they had was avail. when we unpacked the van for our trip to the fourth floor. The pool looked inviting. I was unhappy upon entering the room. It was not clean. The bathroom floor looked like it had not been cleaned.I had to lay down a few towels to cover it. There were stains on the couch. I felt uncomfortable letting my children sit on it. The air conditioners had a funny smell. The filters needed to be cleaned. We only stayed one night.The price was good, but it could have been cleaner. Location is good. It will be nicer when the vacant lot next door is built up.
