Horrible

the bed is at least 20 years old. it was like slpeeng on a row boat. had to check at a 630am but no one was there. sign said closed untull 7am. never got a bill. plus it was 85 degrees in my room. fan and heat stunk

Great Location
The location was great because there were things to do around the hotel. On days we wanted to go to the city, we just used the trains to get around and we didn't have to deal with driving through NYC. The location makes it easy to satisfy everyone in our family and go everywhere they would like to.

I was at this hotel for a week for business. Never will I stay here again, service was terrible, hallways smelled, I didn't want to take my shoes off and you have to pay for internet access. Hello this is 2011, internet is a pretty standard feature at hotels these days. Bottom line is I would have went somewhere else if I hadn't paid upfront before I got there. If I had to describe this hell hole in one word it would be.... filthy. Oh and good luck trying to find the lady at the front desk because she is never around.

The office on south street Morristown is a nice little bar with good food and drinks.

Dirty rooms, no housekeeping during stay
Rooms are dirty, room-switches due to room not having all expected kitchen equipment or TV not working. No housekeeping during entire stay. Towels are rough and good for exfoliating ;) Residents leave garbage in hallways.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
I booked this Hotel on [...] then called the Hotel. I told the receptionist that I needed a 1st floor smoking room due to medical problems (9 back surgeries) and she said that would not be a problem, but when I arrived I was on the 3rd floor and was told that the 1st floors do not have smoking rooms-Seems that not all employees knows everthing about rooms. Was told they offer a hot breakfast in the morning, but when arrived was told they don't offer anything, but a few vending machines for drinks. Ask for help getting my things out of the car and onto the cart due to having 9 back surgeries and no one helped or opened doors for me to get in, which made it very hard for me. The room did not have any heat the first night called several times and the desk clerk came up and said that she did not know how the heating system worked. So I went all night without any heat in the middle of Winter!!!! But it was fix and I had heat the rest of the week. Desk clerks would make you feel like you were putting them out when you needed, TP, Tissues, so I did not ask for towels!!! The room was nice and I really like the full kitchen so I did not have to go out to eat after working all day on the road, that was the best part and the bed was wonderful on my back. Did not have a real desk area work area was ontop of the kitchen counter. I would probably stay again depending on where I had to go for business, but would not stay for a vacation!! I'm not sure if I would recommend this Hotel to a friend it would depend on what the stay was for. For me it was ok, but if I was on vacation I would not recommend.

If you are staying for a week on business I think the best is to buy food for the evening at PathMark. Did not have any time for any entertainment or shopping so I could not help with that.
