Clean, neat, comfortable, roomy
We enjoyed our stay. Nice room, King bed, 2 chairs and side table, desk, TV, suitcase bency, double closet, 2 nightstands, 4 pillows on bed. Good temp control in the room. Breakfast for FREE! We'd go back again - not a problem. Convienent to shopping and eatting!

IHOP just next door! Restraunt inside hotel. Bar inside hotel away from sleeping area (very quiet to sleep in)

happy, just barely
tried to change night amount right after booking and they would not change it. said "includes hbo" when booked and they did not have it. asked for extra pillows and didnt have it. pool wasnt heated as advertised. breakfast was poor. other then that, was an ordinary comfy space.

We were here to see our son home from Iraq. He was due in on Monday so we arrived on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, he was stuck in Kuwait. So it went to Tuesday, then Wednesday, finally going to Germany. Then to Atlanta, then to airport in Newark on Friday. The hotel staff were exceptionally gracious and accommodating during our time there. Especially when we extended our stay two extra days. The desk personal asked everyday if we had heard anything about his arrival and were geniunely interested. The housekeeping department were polite and very maticulous about the room. There is a small continental breakfast available but is/was sufficient for us. There are several full restaurant available nearby, a mall within a few miles. For those who like the night life, Friday nights they have Karaoke and on Saturday they have live bands. Get there early because we watched it fill up. All in all our stay here was great. Thanks again to the staff at Howard Johnsons.

While the lobby was redone and very nice the rest of the hotel was old and dated. Requested and received a room that was marked non-smoking but the room obviously was not and smelled like an ash tray. Bathroom was old and had no shower curtain. While location was great for local sporting event would not recommend.

I made my reservations for two rooms@ this hotel for the onsite bar. I was in town for my wife's funeral and wanted to celebrate her life with family w/o having to drive. When our 10 person party was turned away @ 6:30 because the tables were reserved for a reunion @ 9 we were devastated to say the least. I was going to reserve a couple of rooms later next month, but I think I may look elsewhere

OUIET, CLEAN AND VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF
OUR ROOM WAS READY UPON OUR ARRIVAL (WE WERE A BIT EARLY). THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL,COURTIOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, WELL ORINIZED AND COMFORTABLE. THE ON SITE RESTURANT FOOD WAS WELL PRESENTED AND TASTY (I WOULD RECOMMEND THE VEAL). THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS NICE, BUT WE PREFER A FULL BREAKFAST, THERE ARE SEVERAL OFF SITE LOCATIONS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE SERVING BREAKFAST.THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW HOTELS WE STAYED AT DURING OUR TRAVELS THAT WE THOUGHT THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF DESERVED A TIP. (WE EVEN LEFT THEM A THANK YOU NOTE)

BAD BACK MIKE
rock hard bed killed my back
everything was cool except the hard mattress. my sister was 8 rooms down and had the same experience. it was like sleeping on the box spring, the carpet on the floor was thought of as an option i would of changed rooms if i checked the bed right away at check in. instead i didnt realize it until about 11 pm when i got back to the hotel. next time i don't care what time it is or how tired i am, i will call the desk for a new room. even after a chiropractic adjustment my back hurt for a week. BEDS THAT HARD SHOULD BE A CRIME AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO BY SOME AUTHORITY. IVE BEEN TO OTHER HOWARD JOHNSON'S AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM
