the room was clean, but very small. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, so that was a big negative for us. The a/c in the room was not working properly, they said they would send someone to check it, but the second night was no different from the first, so I don't think they checked it. The front desk only had one person working and the line was always long. They also ran out of towels so they didn't stock our room with any. But, the location was perfect for us. Close to the beach and boardwalk which is what we wanted.

We were 4miles away from the shore. The room picture online was a perfect representation of the actual room. Our beds were freshly made each morning. We had a plumbing problem in the bathtub that was immediately fixed upon our return from the beach. I would definately stay again. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were on the second floor. Same with the pool area. Clean and kept well. bravo Holiday Inn!! Nice surprise for our first time stay.

Decent Room,
Nice enough Hotel, elevators worked OK, room heater (it was still cold outside) was a little weird, but worked once you fiddled with the knobs using a secret combination. Ice machines worked good, Soda machine right by the rooms, didn't try restaurant, parking very good.

Overnight trip

Excellent Stay
We stayed at the Holiday Inn at Toms River for three nights while we were in New Jersey for a friends wedding. The hotel was very clean. Our room was great! It was very quiet and relaxing except for the last night we were there some drunk guys were outside screaming at 6am. We did have one problem the first day we were there, we left the "do not disturb" sign off of our door wanting the maid to come and exchange our towels. We left at about 8:30 that morning and got back to the hotel at 4:30pm and the maid STILL hadn't come through. So we just ended up asking the front desk for new towels and the problem was resolved. :) Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay there again! :)
