Eh ok i guess

A fridge would have been nice...a working ice machine down the hall would have been nice too. a drink vending machine for 2.50 per bottle was ridiculous. I had a pool side room, but the pool was NEVER open at convenient times. the staff was pretty nice.

Unbeatable location for the price

Holiday inn Somerset bridgewater was a clean and friendly place to stay. The only bad thing was the location not alot to do around there.

Decent place, good location

We were just looking for a place to sleep and shower as we were only in the area a very short time. I was completely satisfied with the room - the beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The only main issue we encountered were some EXTREMELY loud guests a few doors down. It was New Year's Eve, so that was somewhat understandable. We did end up making a call to the desk to complain at about 3am (enough was enough) - and the situation was taken care of relatively quickly. All in all, if I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely stay here.

Great Hotel

I have stayed at other Holiday Inns and I was expecting the same type of hotel, nothing spectacular just a decent place to stay the night. I was very impressed. It was probably the nicest Holiday Inn I've stayed at. It was very clean. I brought my dog so I had to inspect the room to make sure there was nothing he could eat and only found a few crumbs hidden under the bed. The staff was great, the food in the bar was good (a bit pricey), I felt safe taking my dog potty outside at night. I would have liked if the breakfast was included and not extra (We didn't purchase it)

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are going to NYC make the short drive to the train station in Edision, its about 20 minutes but only 9 miles. Its cheaper than the one closer to the hotel.

Weekend Getaway

My weekend getaway was for relaxing and spending quality time away from my busy schedule. The Holiday Inn was prefect for my getaway but the only things missing was the mircowave to heat up left overs from dinner and a fridge to put the left overs in along with other goodies. On previous trips i have taken i had everything i needed and never had to pay a service fee for water. The Holiday Inn charges you a service fee for room service.

Nice quiet getaway

very quiet and relaxing..the only downfall was no continental breakfast. you had to purchase the breakfast buffet..not even coffee in the lobby

We were so looking forward to the nice pool at this hotel which unfortunately was closed for maintenance during our stay.

Fun weekend in the sun

When we arrived at the hotel after check in went strait to the pool for some relax time. Then after a night out came back to some very comfortable beds in the room. The staff was very Friendly also, i forgot to check out and was almost home called them and they did it all over the phone! I do this trip every year and I would stay here again!

Staff helpful

Coming up from FLorida the staff was very understanding about the differences in weather. They had a great little bar/rest. that had great food and was at a reasonable price.
