Weekend warrior
Just great!
We went to the Doubletree for an overnight stay just to get away. The bed was so comfortable, we could have slept the entire time. The only con is that the restaurants were a bit expensive and the pizzeria closed too early, but the diner a few minutes away was great.

Room and Hotel nice - Hotel booked a wedding group or more in room ajoining mine - awaken at 3:00AM - did not stay drove 2 hours to home - why would hotel book wedding groups next to a couple styaing overnight . Would think these groups would be grouped away from private parties. Hotel said they would contact me - have heard NOTHING....

The Hotel was adequate and functional
The Hotel was adequate and functional for attending an exhibition. The food was very average and a service charge of 15% is charged on each food/bar bill while a gratuity is also requested. The service does not deserve both. If using Taxis from the property to restaurants nearby check the price first, for a 10 minute journey it cost $35 each way, while the taxi from the train station at New Brunswick only cost $12 for a 30 minute journey.

Fine room, no parking
With the exception of parking, this was a fine stay. The room was spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I had to park a quarter mile from the hotel and walk. At check-in and check-out, I had to park in the fire lane in order to load and unload my bags. Maybe they should consider valet parking and bell service. I ate in the Tuscany restaurant in the hotel. A very limited and unimaginative menu, but the food and service were quite good.
