Two-room, pet-friendly suites and a New York City bus from the lobby
Two-room suites offer extra space at La Quinta Inn AND Suites Secaucus Meadowlands, only a few miles from New York City. Reasonable rates include a free deluxe continental breakfast with waffles, free Wi-Fi and access to the indoor pool, fitness center and business center. Stop by the restaurant and lounge before or after a day of exploration. A free shuttle offers service within three miles of the hotel and proves a popular option for those on business in the area. Guests bound for the Big Apple can hop on the bus just outside the front doors.

Fantastic New York New York
It was a positive experience in all respects. There are signs of wear and tear to be found at La Quinta .They did not effect the positive overall experience . The shuttle service ,even though we used it only once , was excellent . The desk staff friendly and helpful. Ofcourse , the bus at the front door to new York was beyond just perfect.

It's great for the price.
The hotel is great for the price and my wife and I could bring our dogs for free. The staff was friendly and courteous and there is a bus stop out front that goes to NYC every 15 minutes or so.

Great location just outside of NYC
Despite the fire alarms going off twice beginning at 2:00 am, our experience was pleasant! The front desk attendant upon our arrival Friday afternoon was TERRIFIC! She was very knowledgeable about the area and about NYC. She had the bus route and schedule ready for us and explained it completely down to the cost! I would stay here again.

Transportation - if you are not sure - ask the bus driver about cost for kids - Holidays & weekends are free for kids on NJ Transit. And the NYC subway authorities tell your child to just duck under the turn style and only adults pay. Cool!

good location
Very close to bus stop for NYC. Staff very helpful with highlighted bus schedule. Breakfast was disorganized with alot of empty containers, including coffee. staff couldnt keep up with guests.

A PLACE TO PERCH BETWEEN NEW YORK INCURSIONS
THIS WAS A GOOD PLACE TO PARK, EAT BREAKFAST AND SLEEP BETWEEN VISITS TO MANHATTAN. THE SUITE IS A NICE SIZE: SOME CAN SLEEP WHILE OTHERS WATCH TV OR READ OR PLAN THE NEXT INCURSION INTO THE GREAT CITY. THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. MY WIFE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE "NO PEOPLE" AFTER THE MADDENING CROWDS. A PEACEFUL PLACE. WE LIKED IT.

THE BUS TO MANHATTAN IS FINE, CHEAP, AND STOPS IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL. THE LINCOLN TUNNEL IS $12, A DAY OF PARKING IN NYC $40? OR MORE. THE COMMUTERS WHO GET OFF THE BUS PRACTICALLY BOW AS THEY THANK THE DRIVER FOR SAVING THEM MONEY AND THE ANGUISH OF DRIVING TO AND FROM THE CITY.

Clean hotel, close to NYC, great staff
I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was large and reasonably priced. The bathroom needed some definite updating but overall was clean and satisfactory. The staff was really great and the bus to NYC stops right in front of the hotel. I will definitely be back.

Nice Hotel, Perfect Location
We were there on a family trip. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the Liberty state park and in the middle of a shopping mall with some restaurants. We did prebook that room and mentioned in the booking that we needed to have the sofa bed setup in order to sleep our family of 5. They must not have read this, but mentioning it to the very helpful staff did it. After we came back from lunch the room was perfect. If there were 2 things to criticize then it would be these: The room temperature in the pool was too cold. We went in, swam and went back to our room. The pool itself was good, but the air was too cold to stay in there. Also, there were not enough chairs and tables for the breakfast, but again, the selection itself for the breakfast was good - even with fruit.

perfectly priced for what you get
My son and I arrived very late and had an easy check-in. Service was solid, if not particularly friendly! I asked for a non-smoking room, yet I could smell old smoke the minute I walked in. The bed was very comfortable. There was one tiny shampoo and soap. No conditioner or lotion. Only two bath towels. We only stayed one night so this is all I know!
