Homestead Secaucus-Meadowlands

Staff was pleasant but overall condition of the hotel was poor; our bathtub was cracked in two places and despite being in a non-smoking room there were cigarette burn marks all over the bathroom floor and vanity. We booked the room for two adults and two children and when we went to make up the pull out sofa for the kids there was a huge stain on the mattress, there was only one dirty pillow, and no additional blankets. We were unable to use the pull out because it was so dirty and due to the lateness of the hour and a full day of travel we needed to just get the kids in bed so we all slept in the bed. I would not go to this hotel again or any of their other facilities nor would I ever recommend anyone stay there.

The location is ideal when trying to save money and traveling into new york city. The price was about a third of what the hotels in the city are going for, but there is free parking and the 320 bus that goes straight into port authority picks up just a few feet from the entrance. The room is a bit dated, and the bed we had sagged pretty bad in the middle.

this was the second time we stayed at the homestead suites at secaucus. You get what you pay for, there were only two pilows for the the bed and pull out couch, staff wasn't overly friendly. the continential breakfast was nothing but some pre packaged pastries,bagles, and some badly bruised apples.
