Flamingo Motel

The place is a dump and they charge you an $8.50 "online fee" when you check in, so you aren't saving anything by booking through Orbitz.

Worst hotel I have ever seen. It looked like something from a 3rd world country. The room was just big enough for a bed, there were bugs crawling around the floors, burn holes in the bed, wholes in the walls, feces stains in the toilet. When I confronted the man at the desk he showed me other rooms that were no better than the first. I told him I wanted my money back and he said he couldn't do anything about it. [...] I am reported this hotel to better business bureau and the board of health.

The place was horrible. The check in office constantly smelled like bad food[...] The management did nothing to make any part of this trip comfortable. our towels had what appeared to be urine stains on them, the pool was green, and there was constantly cheap beer cans all around it. There was a couple next to us who appeared to be beating eachother at all times of the night, and the police were there three times in the week we were there. Trying to get your room cleaned is like trying to meet the president [...] I am a weekend warrior, and this place was too out of control even for a young person like myself. When you are on vacation, you dont want to see what i guess are "locals" getting hauled off in cuffs. Oh and there were also what appeared to be feces on the wall. Do not stay at this hotel, it is horrible. I you have a choice, i recomend staying at a hotel in seaside park. Its close enough if you want the heights, but a much better element resides there. Oh and the free continental breakfast included an expired box of entenmanns doughnuts, and burnt coffee. If you stay there after reading this, its your own fault.

When we arrived, there was a sign that said call for assistance on the door. We called and the man came right over. The office was filled with unfolded towels, wash clothes and bedding! The hotel was not maintained or well kept. There were what appeared to be homeless people living in a room below us...fighting and cursing the second day. We had no maid service, so no clean towels or wash clothes for the second day. We went down to ask and AGAIN we had to call. He came over and gave the girls a heap of towels in from the mess in the office. The pool was ok...we could swim in it. But again no real maintainence. Hoses, cig butts and trash around the pool. Missing light bulbs around the hotel balconies as well. The icing on the cake...we woke up this morning and started packing, I went out to get our towels on the balcony and someone stole them! I went to the office...no one was there! I called and he offered NO help and didn't seem to care at all. I left in disquist. However, Seaside Heights is an amazing place. It truly is ashame..this hotel is in a great location but it SUCKS!! I am not a picky person but wow, this hotel was awful.

We took a spur of the moment trip, and this motel seemed alright. Good location and decent price for the amount of time I had to book a room. The office was unkept, and smelled of mildew. We got to our room and it was dingy. There was a hole starting in front of the bathroom about 8 inches across. We had to step over it for safety reasons.The sheets were stained (I brought my own sheets and Lysol just incase!). The front window curtains did not cover the windows all the way. I felt dirty after my shower. The air conditioner broke in the middle of the night. If we were staying there for more than one night, we would have left the next day. I feel like if you have a hotel/motel, you should keep it pleasant, clean, and welcoming. Instead I felt dirty and unsafe.

the price went up $30 dollors and we could not even take a shower it was soo gross

When we arrived, there was a note posted on the door of the office. We had to call a phone to get someone to come check us in. Don't expect them to clean your room either.

Overall u get what u pay for, a room to come back to after a trip to the beach, to change clothes, rest, hit the boardwalk, return, sleep and repeat.

the room was nasty, the pool was green, no parking.

at the end of the check out day,the manager complain about time of check out,telling us it was 10am and not 12pm as shonw on orbitz and for that the fine was $50,wich i hope is not included to the credit card!!
