Nice and clean, convenient location. Restauraunt was between owners. They did an adequate job providing breakfast until they find a new restauraunt tenant but I was hoping for a little more atmosphere, particularly in the evening when a cocktail would be in order. Beds not too comfortable. Mattress like a rock.

Shop Rite is across the street if you forget anything on your trip, though it's hard to see from the hotel.

Perfect for our short visit
We needed to find a hotel close to a family wedding event and this was perfect for us. We were offered an upgrade to a king room upon checking in at no additional charge. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the pillows were terrific. The jacuzzi was wonderful for relaxing after the festivities. The room and bath had clearly been upgraded. The bathroom offered a large, wall mounted magnified mirror (in addition to the regular mirror) - very helpful in prepping for the evening's event. The counter top space was a bit small, though. We were also offered bottled water on checking in - which was in a bag with some other snacks - a nice offering. The front desk and cleaning staff were very professional and friendly. We also needed a location that was convenient for family coming from Pennsylvania so the location was perfect. We would go back.

There was a great diner a short drive down the street - I believe it was called the Montville (or Montvale) diner.

For the price it's was nice
The Hotel was clean and nice not what I expect for the Holiday Express because work was being done to update the hotel.. The room was nice. breakfast was good.

Great place to stay
The room was clean. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I recommend this place for the people who travel a lot.

Short Stay for Business
Hotell room and bath a bit small. There is no arm chair to sit and read. If desk is used, 2nd person must sit on bed. Breakfast was generous, good variety. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would prefer a more spacious room.

The room was ready at check in. The staff was helpful. The pool was a hit with our son; no towels were available at the pool. Told the front desk and the towels arrived shortly there after. Good location to get in and out of city. Business center available for checking email and finding out events in the area.

Just ok
i stayed at this hotel for business trip.the staff is not courteous at all..and don't make you feel welcome..rooms were clean but the service was bad. I would avoid this particular holiday inn for my future trips.

No Nickname
Very nice hotel.
Nice, clean hotel. A little inside construction going on but it didn't bother us. Should I ever have a need to go to Parsippany again, I would use this hotel again.

Unhappy Camper
"Messed" UP
We checked in around 12:30 am after a terrible flight delay out of Tampa. We checked in smoothly and went to the room. It had not been cleaned. One bed was "messed" up. We had to go back and the desk found us a cleaned room. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. We checked out around 7:30 am.
