Very good except aircon not perfect. Very convenient to NYC. Price acceptable.

We booked this hotel because of the shuttle that takes you Manhattan (it stops in front of the hotel if you flag it down). The staff is really nice and helpful but other than that I did not like this hotel. The rooms are small and old. The hotel needs to be renovated. I recommend spending the extra money and staying at a nicer place.

The hotel was average at best. The first room they gave us was not even cleaned and the second room they gave us was not much better. It appeared clean but the bathtub kept backing up, there was hair everywhere and the carpet needed to be replaced. Besides the room, the breakfast was good and the shuttle to New York was very reasonable.

My first place heading to New York and i didnt know where to go or stay. Luckily i ended up staying here with my girlfriend. The room had a huge king size bed, everything very clean, and everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and very informative. It took us literally 20mins in traffic to get to times square, and less than that in clear traffic. Another great thing about it was the shuttle buses that pass by every 5-10 mins that take you to times square, and they operate all night. Ill def be back to this place. Great staff room location.

Negative: I believe the hotel cost more than it is worth. The continental breakfast need to include a microwave for the cold donuts. The new building has rooms that were quickly put together (e.g. door knobs put on backwards, carpet poorly put down, wholes clearly patched together, etc.). The location is near a major highway and the neighborhood is not clean. I would not recommend this hotel to families or single travelers (particularly women traveling alone). The new building does not have an elevator. You will have to walk up a number of steps with luggage to enter the hotel as well as access the top level rooms. Positive: The hotel is clean. Now, I don’t know what the rooms in the old building looks like. I would guess it is not the great. A female guest was in the lobby complaining of smoke in the room she had just checked into. I was blessed to be placed in the new building which is clean. The hotel is very close to New York by bus. You can pay $3.00 (one way) to ride to NY via bus. The bus can pick you up right in front of the hotel but you will need to flag down the bus in order to board the bus. You can return to NJ by catching the bus in the Port Authority. You will need to tell the bus driver to drop you off at Toys R Us.

It's convenient to Manhattan by shuttle every 15 mins from 6 am. In addition, we were not distured by noise, I think it's good even if this hotel locates at nearby main road. BTW, if you head to this hotel from bus authority terminal at Manhattan 42 nd st & 8th ave, go to Gate #51, you can directly pay the driver cash $3, and not necessary to buy ticket at NJ transit windows.

I spend 2 nights in this hotel when I travel in New York. It very convenience drive to downtown and everywhere. Easy to find food even at the late night. The location is great for traveler who have car and free parking. Room is clean and warm with heater. Every detail is cool and if next time when I going to new York again, I will choose this hotel again.

Very nice hotel for the price; near NY by bus (very cheap!).

Helpful staff in a location very near downtown NYC. A 15 min., $3 bus ride and in 4 rides we never waited more than couple minutes for a bus! Save $200-$300 per night in hotel bill for a $3 ride.
