the experince was good with the exception of the airline travel to the beginning destination i was treated rudely 3x by male ... flight attendant from ord to lga and then they lost bags didn't arrive till 10a the next morning half my day was ruined since it takes about 2 hours to get inot the city from where i was at

To get to NY the cheapest way - is to take a bus from MewArk airport (#62 if I'm correct) to Penn Station New Ark, then PATH train to NY, Manhattan. It's 1.35 + 1.75 versus 15 bucks by AmTrack. Otherwise I'd strongly recommend to rent a car!

Overall hotel was very very nice. Seems to be recently renovated so definitely a bargain for the price. Rooms were tastefully ... decorated with an assortment of pillows and a pillow top bed, very clean, and very nice staff. I asked for a quiet room away from the noise of a group of teenagers and they were more than happy to comply. Also there is a decent restaurant that will deliver to the room for a $3.50 charge. And fitness center looked really nice. My only complaint is that their internet access is extremely poor. They advertise free wireless access but my computer had a very hard time maintaining a connection in the room. There is no ethernet connection in the rooms so only choice was to try the lobby for a stronger signal at the recommendation from another guest. While the connection was better than in the rooms it was still very slow, and having a hard time to maintain connection. There is a business center but you have to pay to use those computers. Overall, as long as internet is not a requirement, the hotel is a really a great deal for the price and a very comfortable stay. if they fix the internet it would be perfect.

We were really impressed with the hotel. The lobby is beautiful and for the price we got more than we expected. The ac is a ... little noisy but I'm not too light of a sleeper so it didn't bother us too much. The pillows are comfy and everyrthing was great. The staff was extremely friendly and we have decided to always stay there when we head out that way. Bang for your buck!

Hotel was okay. Good transportation to and from hotel. I liked possibility to keep my baggage with them even before my ... check-in, while we were to NewYork with friends. Rooms are clean. Everything that we needed was there.

The room was quiet and roomy, but the bathroom had missing grout on the floor tiles and a broken door stop. The entire hotel ... had a somewhat past-its-prime appearance. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that the lobby has a monitor showing flight information at the nearby Newark International Airport. The restaurant has a very institutional appearance, but the food was quite good and inexpensive. The first-floor hall, where the smokers' rooms are, stinks of stale smoke, but the fourth floor, where my room was, is fine. The exercise room is fairly well equipped. Wireless internet in the room worked ok, but the speed wasn't very good. Very nice alarm clock.

Everyone was courtiess and the prices were in line. The room was clean and neat and the food with service was very good. It ... is close to the Newark airport as was my business meetings to downtown. All the convienences were available and my stay there was excellent.

I have stayed here before and the beds were much more comfortable. Customer service was good, but I did not appreciate the ... "tip" jar at the front desk. Gratuities should be offered, not solicited. All rooms should include a kitchenette. The shuttle drivers should be more punctual during the evening.

the food and drink were excellent and reasonably priced. i had friends join me for dinner and drinks and also for a brunch. ... all were favorably impressed by the offerings. the rooms were comfortable and the maid service was efficient .the desk staff were all pleasant and helpful in giving information and assistance when driving, the access is confusing due to the number of highway and street ramps off the main route. if you miss the right ramp, you have to drive all around as there is only the one way to get to the hotel and it is a one way road.
