Just fine
I hotel was enough for me. I needed a place to stay a few nights that was close to the airport. I had no problems checking in. The room was clean and basic. I just needed a bed and hot shower.

excellent getaway
Nice large rooms that are very clean. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms are a plus. The restaurant inside the hotel has really good food that isn't expensive. All the staff are friendly and are there to make your experience the best it can be.

good for a night to reach airport easily
The hotel overall is good. It is very close to airport. They provide free shuttles between the hotel and the airport for every 30 min. The ride only takes like 5 min. The room is clean. No bed bugs. The only thing I don't like that much is the attitude of the staff. The front desk always gives a cold face. When I tried to call the operator for breakfast opening hours, they chose not to answer but transferred me to some dead end.

no stores, or supermarkets in walking distance.no metered cab service, i asked for a cab to go to a store (from the front desk) and not only was it more expensive than my ride from the airport(18.00 plus tip) but it was also more expensive than my purchses. for a 1/2 hour ride,travel time included $30.00 is a bit much.also you did not mention the $15.00 per night parking fee. My stayat Howard Johnson was great and considering the location of it being right across the airport and the free shuttle to hotel and airport was great be the hotel I stay at when I come back very convenient for me thank you Sandra faragalla

Airport hotel
Close to Newark International Airport, shuttle bus and free Wifi is available, The room looks like 70, however there are refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer in the room. It is a standard economy hotel for airport transit usage.

Mad Dogs and Oregonians
For New York City area, affordable and reasonable
No great shakes, but it was roughly an hour (maybe a little more) into the city on a combination of airport shuttle, AirTrain and NJ Transit ($25 roundtrip). Quiet, very little airport noise. I had trouble sleeping, but I think that was just me.

Howard Johnson Newark
I appreciated that this hotel was close to the airport, had a free shuttle to and from the airport, a taxi service available and an affordable shuttle service available to and from NYC. The staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant was great. The price was awesome so the hotel served its purpose on my trip.

Take the shuttle from the Newark Howard Johnson if you are staying there. It was affordable and it drops you have and picks you up right in the middle of the city on-time!

ROOM WAS FINE,PEOPLE PLEASANT(NOT EASILY FOUND IN NEWARK) ...ONLY 2 SMALL THINGS...NO CONTINENTAL N A $15 BEHIND THE GATE PARKING FEE. I'D STAY AGAIN W/O A DOUBT..P.S. NO BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
