Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Newark Liberty International Airport offers charming renovated guest rooms and suites, plus plenty of extras. Hey, it's clean and close
Clean room, close to airport with easy access to Rental Car lanes if you put the pedal to the floor when pulling out. Staff was nice, breaksfast was adequate. Surprisingly quiet next to the airport.

Trust the signs for "Fuel" when returning a rental car. Just stay right and you will literally drive into the gas station.

Generally good but hard to get to at night, esp from airport parking via car
Hotel has good vibes, esp. in the lobby in the a.m. Very cosmopolitan and relaxed. I liked it. Carol McGuigan p.s. very hard to get by the hvac unit around/into the king size bed in executive suite on 4/21/2012

get a cab or shuttle to and, esp. from the airport/longterm parking, to the hotel. Driving yourself is a nightmare!

Never use Fairfield Inn and Suites
I will never stay at another Fairfied property. The telephone didn't work and the water was very slow to drain from the sink and bathtub. In addition, it was difficult at best to find the entrance to the hotel from the roadway. The property is situated behind a Holiday Inn and you access it via a small driveway that has one 24" x 24" sign (about two feet off the ground) to indicate that is the entrance for the Fairfield Inn. Not a very good experience.

Oops!...forgot to mention.
when I look for a airport hotel I always look for who's got free parking. This hotel says they do, but what they mean is only for the night you stay. This little trick cost me an extra 96 bucks,which made the very comfortable bed not such a bargain.

Great Stay! Great Staff!
My stay here is was great! The property is lovely, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of breakfast foods and drinks, which is complimentary and it's close to the airport. I will definetely stay here again in the future.

Close to where I work and to the airport. Finding the place is a little confusing but it wasn't that hard. All in all, the place is nice!

Close to airport
Clean and comfortable. Room set up for easy shower access for disabled, with adjustable shower seat.

Fairfield Newark International Airport
Overall experience was good. Hotel appearance and hotel room was clean. Room was cleaned every day and it's fairly quiet. No noise coming from the airport even though you're right next to it. Food wasn't lacking. They had breakfast cereal and sandwiches (bacon/sausage egg and cheese) bagel, yogurt etc! Staff was friendly and courteous. Only concern was that our room looked like it was broken into before we even stayed there. We could use the room key to lodge it to the side and just push the door open. Also the lock was tricky, so there were some issues of safety.
