Good Business Hotel
This is a good hotel if you have business in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area. No special amenities, but the rooms are spacious and nicely designed. The hotel itself is a 1970's design without many upgrades. The hotel is located within four blocks of a New Jersey Transit station. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Not bad for one night
My girlfriend and I decided to spend a day down by the shore. Being that she attended Rutgers, we decided to stay a night in New Brunswick so we could be close to the nightlife. The service was quite nice, moving me to a terraced room when we found out that there were no smoking rooms. They were also helpful in reserving us a specific room way in advance of our check in. The hotel lacked some basic amenities such as a minibar and sufficient toiletteries. In addition, you will will pay for EVERYTHING here, including parking & wifi. In fact, while I had paid for the wifi so that I could stay in the lounge after the checkout to get some work done before heading back home, we found that it had been automatically cut off. The front desk was gracious enough to give me a temporary password, however I found this additional step unnecessary. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but I find too many hotels willing to provide some basic services for free. I might come back if the rate is right.

Very good hotel but New Brunswick:c'mon!
Jury duty. Convenient location for town center, restaurants and court, room well above average, hotel dining excellent, service excellent. Lobby not well-thought-out - confusing. Highly recommended if you have the misfortune to have to be in New Brunswick - it's not THAT bad, but nobody'd ever confuse it for Paris.

Decent hotel
the front desk told me I would get discounted parking because I was a guest. When I left, I handed the garage attendant my pass and he would not give me the discount. I didn't feel like arguing with him because I had to go to work.

Hotel is beautifully appointed. Rooms are spacious and the staff is extremely courteous. The food was delicious. The only downside was the room's proximity to the street level noise. I had a balcony which faced a busy street complete with numerous sirens and truck engines.

Cheap parking and great location. Hyatt has been the best area hotel for years. Flat screen TV's and great balcony views are extra perks.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
Easton Ave provides great dining and night life for the under 30 crowd. Upscale dining and theaters are an even closer walk for older travelers.
