Renovations have been completed. Stop in and see whats new. Welcome to the Super 8 Hotel of Mahwah, NJ. We are conveniently located just south of I-287 and the New York State Thruway. Our accessibility to the many corporate offices and popular attraction site of Bergen County are a few of the things that attract visitors to us. Situated close to a bounty of retail locations, were 30 minutes from New York City, 23 miles from the Meadowlands Sports Complex and New Xanadu Shopping Center, 16 miles from the Woodbury Commons Outlet Center, and 10 miles from the second largest mall in the country, The Palisades Center Mall. Were 5 minutes from Ramapo College and within 20 minutes of us you can find the Darlington Recreation Area, Ramapo reservation, Harriman State Park, Bear Mountain and Sterling Forest. Whether you are in town for business or pleasure we are the perfect spot for you. Super 8 of Mahwah offers all the amenities you expect to make your stay as comfortable as possible including - Free Superstart Breakfast, Free Wireless Internet, In-room coffee makers, Hair dryers, and Satellite TV including STARZ Movie channel, CNN and ESPN. Pets are welcome with a nominal fee. We are not able to accommodate large vehicle parking. We are sure you will find our Destination Super. You must be 21 or older to rent a room

Place was lousy

The place was run down, the back door lock was broken and my room was right by it. Decor was old and the place was stinky. Doors to maintenance rooms were all wide open. I can't believe I paid $80 for this room. [...]. Never again.

Very close gateaway

very confortable place with very clean room. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. They changed my room for me in a fly. Free coffee and orange juice all day. Very quiet and close to the highway.

Good location/pet friendly

The unhappy

They over booked for the King sized room that I slected and gave me a double bed. The reason that I went with that hotel was because of the bed choice. When I arrived for check in they informed me that it was [...]fault that they over booked King sized rooms. I have used [...]before and not had a problem getting what room I slected. The maids like to enter the room when you tell them that people are sleeping.

Clean, fast, easy access

I only stayed for a night while traveling NJ area. Price is reasonable, cheap compared to other common motels/hotels. Non-smoke room was clean, hot shower, and the hotel was quiet.

Relieved

Since we got such a great rate, we were nervous that the hotel was going to be a dive! It was much better than we expected. The hotel is located right off a major highway but the road traffic was nearly inaudible. The room was surprisingly large and everything was very clean. The only negatives were the strange odor in the carpet and the lack of internet access.

Good bargain in No. NJ

personnel always very nice--but mattress supports sticking out from bedframe were a true menace to ankles, and cleaners left window open so room was freezing and wet on return.... room was clean and well maintained; parking good, A good bargain overall

very clean,friendly statt

clean room,friendly staff,right on major highway,easy to get around,breakfast room stayed open much longer then stated hours
