Travelodge Atlantic City Absecon

The picture posted is old. The Travelodge sits right on the highway. There is no continential breakfast and when I asked for the fitted plate for the microwave, (was pleased there was one in the room but it was nonfuntioning with out the plate) I was given a regular plate that did not fit. The room was clean but is an older hotel that could use a few upgrades. Locks on the doors and windows that work would be a good start.

Clean, inexpensive, and great service. Non-smoking room was odor free.

Located along the US30 hotel corridor. Consistently one of the lowest priced motels around, yet exceptionally clean with solid, comfortable beds. Both of my non-smoking rooms have been odor free, which is somewhat uncommon among the area motels at which I've stayed.

We stayed in two different rooms because we upgraded to a jaccuzzi room for the second night. In both rooms, if you walked around in your white socks, they turned black from the carpet. In the jaccuzzi room, the toilet was loose on the floor so it rocked quite a bit from front to back. In both rooms, the shower curtain rods were falling from the walls and there was broken covers on the electrical switches and outlets. The beds were uncomfortable but the towels and linens seemed clean. There was no tissues in either room. The TV remotes did not work in either room.

At first sight, we weren't thrilled with the location or access to this hotel. Had to go up over a block and do a u-turn to get to the entrance. The staff was friendly. The beds were fairly comfortable. Very low water pressure in sink and shower, no tissues, bathtub was cracked and I was nervous about falling through to the lobby. Non-smoking room maybe, but it was stale smelling. Ice machine didn't work. Not enough parking spaces for all the rooms, so some had to park on the side street. The pool was dirty and not ready to open on a holiday weekend.

Reasonable place - Around 8.5 Miles to Atlantic City Casinos. Lot of places for food nearby.

Horrible. Room was smelly. Asked for non-smoking, received a smoking room. They never made the bed or emptied the garbage. TV was not working told front desk, never fixed. Not enough towels. Mildew in the bathroom, no tissues. Not a pleasant experience. Glad we had friends at the Sheraton to spend time there.

Fast check in and out. Very friendly staff.

This is one of the nice inn's located along the White Horse Pike/Route 30! I'm a simple traveler when I am paying the bill. It has everything I ask for: Clean, sturdy beds Clean bathrooms good houskeeping practices no pests or rodetns hot water, clean bathroom modern Television and cable All in all, a very good place for the costs. You can beat it! It's a great place for simple travelers that need to spend a few days off the road and almost have a home-like situation. Dunkin donuts is just down the block, as well as a WAWA, an Exxon, a Pizza Hut, a Dennys and several other places that are in walking distance or a 15 minute drive. Keep going east a little more (less than a mile) and you run into a full shopping center with a great supermarket, KFC, Arby's Burger King, MCDonalds, and the whole nine. It's pretty much in the hub of the Absecon/Galloway area. A few banks are also in the area, and several ATM's. It is also right along the New Jersey Transit bus route 554 that goes between Atlantic City and Lindenwold 24/7! You can go to Lindenwold and take the PATCO train right into Center City Philadelphia. The 554 stops right in front of this Travelodge. So, it you are a traveler that does not want to bother with a car, it is VERY EASY to get to! I like staying here all the time im in the area. Cheap two star hotel with friendly staff. Room was clean. We got cereal in the morning, and wifi. What more could you ask for?
