Budgetel Inn & Suites Atlantic City-Galloway

This was our second time at this hotel. Stayed off season, over the holidays. The room this year was even better then last. Beautiful lobby, pleasant staff, Room cleanliness ,Hotel condition ,Room comfort absolutely fabulous. Thank you . And Yes! I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

The room are not that clean. A strong humidity smell was observed and felt in the room. It was not a healthy stay. Window was left open for several hours to solve the humidity problem; however, that created another problems, from my personal point of view: some insects were lin and the room was very cold. The heating system was not functioning well and was making a lot of noise...hard to sleep at the beginning. The room is ok for an overnight emergency and probably for those staying for a few hours. Definitely, not for people with medical problems. The Administrator showed courtesy and respect toward the customer (me) but the hotel needs a lot of attention to the details of the room environment and not to just fix a bed, take a good picture of it, and then, mislead customers by it.. I do not think I will be back nor I will recommend it to my family or friends.

A good ,clean, quite and cozy room. Had fun staying here. location was also very ideal, close to airport and all casinos. competitive price, will come back again.

My stay was the worst I've ever had in a hotel, the blanket on the bed dirty it was all around bad i would never go back.

wow what an excellent experience...right from the beginning to the end of the stay, from staff to the room. they made our trip wonderful. I would give them more then 5 stars if possible....

I stayed in this hotel last week with my family. A very good experience , will stay again. very friendy staff make me feel @ home, every peny worth staying here Thanks for the good hospitality..

This place stinks! Worthless hotel! Cleaning staff stole my jacket from my room!

The motel is fairly up to date and clean. The price was right and it only 10 minutes to Atlantic city.

for $34 it cant be beat. good enough for us. The bed is not the best but you really cant ask for more.

My husband and I traveled to Atlantic City to watch a comedy show at the Taj Mahal on the boardwalk. It was Labor Day weekend so all of the hotels along the boardwalk were booked. We decided that staying at this hotel would be a good idea because the pictures looked nice, it was located about 10 minutes from the boardwalk, and it is listed as a 3-star hotel (which is the same rating as the Showboat hotel and casino). I should've known that something was fishy when they were only charging $170/night for a "3-star" hotel compared to the other true 3-star hotels that were charging upwards of $500/night for the same stay and I wish I would've read the reviews from other customers first. This was the absolute WORST hotel room we have EVER stayed at. It was absolutely disgusting and the rooms shown in the pictures for this hotel were only similar to the actual room we stayed in because we could tell it was the same furniture. For starters, it took us 5 minutes to figure out how to unlock the door. Somehow the door lock did not work correctly and it was a puzzle to try and figure out how to wriggle the key and handle at the same time to get the door to open. We finally got in the room and it was plain to see that only the bare minimum cleaning was completed when guests leave the hotel. The TV stand was covered in a layer of dust, there were cobwebs in all corners of the room, the window was filmy, the bathroom vanity light had layers of dust on it and there were hairs in the bathtub. The two table lamps in our room did not work, so the only light for our room was a fluorscent light that worked for the first night we stayed and then only dimly glowed so we had to use the bathroom light to light our room. There was only enough toilet paper in our room to last the first night we were there so we had to buy our own toilet paper. The mattress was completely worn out to the point of being able to feel each individual mattress spring when you laid on it and the pillows were also flat. The comforter was torn and had holes in it that were sewn together by hand and the comforter was not the nice white comforter shown in the pictures. The TV didn't work right; it was black and white and we couldn't get the color to come back on. There wasn't even a remote for the TV, just the cable box, so if we needed to adjust the volume or turn the TV off we had to get up to do that. When we went to bed the first night we saw that the white linens were stained with sweat. The pillow cases had yellow stains on it where other people had laid their heads and the same went for the sheets. We had to rip the top sheet off because it had patches of something hard all over it. There were only two bath towels and they were hard as rocks. Then the second night we were there we had a cockroach in our room. If there were any other hotels with vacancy we would've left immediately but were forced to stick it out here. It wouldn't have been such a let down if it was rated the 1-star that it is worth instead of making us believe we were going to a 3-star hotel. Also, this hotel isn't even worth $50/night because it was so disgusting. Do yourself a favor and go to any other hotel first before deciding to stay at this hotel. We will NEVER stay here again and we learned our lesson: we will always read the reviews first and we will also look at a sample room when we get there before we pay for our stay.
