Pet Friendly
Travel with a pet
the hotel is billed as "pet friendly" but you have to put our $100 non refundable pet fee, we were only in the hotel for one night, less than 8 hours , the fee was reduced to $50 but why have a fee , the cleanining process is not any different. The location close to the airport was great and the staff was friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Price includes breakfast and dinner so made it very economical. Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. Only negative was that the times listed for breakfast in the room were not the same as actual times. Looks like typo on some marketing material. Be sure to check actual times.

If you are staying in the Newark/NYC area, a rental car is not really necessary. There are plenty of options for rail, bus, and ferry. Also, the ferries are a great way to see the city from the water for alot less then the boat tours!

it's a beauty - quiet and comfort
The room is very clean, comfy and spacious, new large screen tvs...fully loaded kitchen...breakfast is really good and more than what we expected....price is really reasonable...I would definitely stay here again as we usually travel to NY once a year... I just wished we were able to enjoy longer hours inside this hotel...we were actually out from morning to night for 2 days playing tourist....it's really a home away from home.

Very bad experience at their breakfast buffet. They could not handle the number of guest for two consecutive days but did not take any measures on second day too.

Jersey Gardens Mall makes this Residence Inn even more attractive to stay..Dont miss out on this place its the best place I have stayed near Newark airport for years during my travels.Good breakfast,friendly staff,clean rooms and nice and quiet...My tip,,watch for the days they serve dinner since its pretty good and free....

"Home away from Home"
I love this place, the staff is more than friendly, there is never any problem with the bill, food is great and the rooms are always clean. I've stayed here at least 5 x's over the past year and never had any complaints. Location is great!

Family Friendly
The Residence Inn by Marriot Newark Elizabeth/Liberty International Airport was a nice place to stay with my family. Having the kitchenette was so convenient. The extra space is a plus with the kids. The bath and sink were separate with a nice closet. The only problem was with the pool. It needed to be cleaned and no one was doing anything about it. There were several people that were not able to swim.

Decent, but we've stayed in better Residence Inns
This Residence Inn was not as nice as some we've stayed in, but it was adequate and the staff were very accommodating. There is a shopping mall near by, but you'll need a car if you want to do any extensive sightseeing; although the free shuttle will take you to the airport and you can get to NYC via train and PATH from Newark Liberty.

alot like home but with a maid
The Marriott Residence Inn has many amenities like home. A full kitchen which is properly supplied, comfy beds and the toilet area is separate from the vanity area. Excellent coffee and coffee maker in the room and great Turkish towels toped off a great 6 day business stay. The only change I would make would be to replace all queen beds with king beds or two doubles if the reservation is made for two people.
