It was great except for no free internet. At a high end hotel you would expect to get free internet. Room service was ... excellent and the staff was great. Very friendly people. Quick in and out from the airport. Overall we'd give it a high four star rating.

Classy Place
Random Traveler Dec 6, 2009
Rooms were really classy, service and staff were very kind and helpful. Location near the airport and close to where we ... needed to be. Gym wasn't anything special, but was sufficient. Restaurant was okay, but if there was anything else in the area, we wouldn't have gone. Calamari was great, though. Bathrooms were a little too small when two people needed to get ready. Overall, a great place.

while it was only a 20 minute drive to reach the hotel, it was almost 2 hours of circling within sight of the hotel before ... actually getting there because of poor signage and poor directions from google maps. arrived tired and got little sleep before leaving for my flight the next morning on the shuttle at 4:40am.

Enjoyable Stay
Savvy traveler Nov 17, 2009
The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a flat-screen TV, beautiful artwork and an MP3 compatible radio clock. ... Check-in and out was a breeze. The one down side is the lack of readily accessible restaurants in the area. I wasn't impressed by the food at the hotel's restaurant. For any good food, it's better to take the shuttle back to the airport.

Good quality and value, but....
Bill Nov 4, 2009
Friendly people, nice hotel, food was so-so, but the prices were reasonable which was more than fair. I didn't like the ... response I got when I asked about the jacuzzi and was told it was broken. I said something like "that's too bad; I actually chose this hotel because it has one; I have a bad back." I didn't get any friendliness or apology, just silence." I know they couldn't fix it on the spot, but.... Otherwise, I really have no complaints. Nice room and good quality bed. No sticky surface in the bathtub for shower comfort.

our plane was 6 hrs. late, so needless to say, our stay was brief, we were only there a night before our cruise ... left...shuttle came as soon as we walked out of the airport. we checked in, in about 5 minutes...they gave us take out menus for 3 or 4 places, and we sat in the lounge, as we waited for our food to be delivered...next day the breakfast buffet was great, and the server was fantastic...all in all, i would say that our 12 hour trip to elizabeth was a huge sucess, and i would reccomend anyone leaving for a cruise from bayonne, new jersey...that this is a great choice for you!!!

I was in Newark for a conference in a hotel close to the Hilton. I could get back and forth with ease and thus was able to ... utilize my time efficiently. It would be nice if the hotel can make a microwave available to guests. Because of my conference program schedule, I missed some meal times and could not save anything from an outing because there was no where to heat it. Having a micro wave, say near the ice rooms would be helpful.

Nice hotel for Airport travel
NYC Wiz kid Jun 29, 2009
The hotel staff was great! Easy access off the road and airport. Bad to get to NYC though. The train from the airprot to NYC ... is $15 each way. Or you can trasfer at newark penn station ro save 5 bucks. Basically its an awesome hotel for airport or other locations but horrible for nyc access. That's if your travelling on a buget. 30 bucks roundtrip was too much, train stops running between 2 and 4 am so if your a night animal; Be careful. Other than that, amenities were awesome, had the room right next to the elevator shaft and it was super silent! A rare find. Bathroom was immaculate with granite counter tops. The Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby was super convenient too. Great to get a latte and run.
