Not a bad hotel but needs some help
The room was functional but smelled bad. Turned out to be the bathroom so kept the door closed. Bathroom light died the day after I checked in. Took 3 days to get it fixed. Exit door right next to my room would slam loud enough to wake you up. Took over a week to get that repaired. Overall it looks to be an older hotel with issues that should be addressed. I would probably stay again but would change rooms rather than count on maintenance to repair problems.

Little Run Down
I asked for a non-smoking room. I got that, but there was a smoke oder in the room and cigarette burns in the carpet. Both the drain stoppers in the sink and bathtub were inoperable. I has to wedge something in the sink drain to keep it open. Chairs were stained (Ugh!), the headboard on the bed was askew and not nearly enough electrical outlets. Would not stay here again.

good deal for the price
the room was standard. clean though the maid did forget to leave washcloths once. (we just picked some up at the front desk) their continental breakfast includes coffee,juice, oatmeal, danishes, muffins, cereal and waffles. we went to the giants game at meadowlands stadium.(aug 22nd) about a half hour away or so if you take the toll road(4.25 one way but worth it. the other way takes twice as long and alot of stop and go traffic) also we went to cape may county zoo which is outside of atlantic city.(about an hour from hotel) wonderful zoo free addmission they operate on donations...they also have a playgroung and picnic areas

right near the hotel there is an ihop. if u show them the hotel key u can get 20% off unless u have kids and do the kids eat free option...they will only honor one promotion.

Best Western East Brunswick Inn 5/8-5/9
Desk staff was very welcoming and efficient. Check in was quick with no problems. Learned that with our room key we would be given a 20% discount at the Denny's and IHOP in front of the hotel. The room was very clean with all the amenities-fridge, microwave, TV, hair dryer, iron and board. The only disappointment was there was no safe in the room. But for the price, no complaints. We would definitely stay there again.

Denny's and IHOP right in front of the property. However, I'd say stick with IHOP. The staff at Denny's was very poor as far as service goes.

Great location for no frills stay
Great location if your headed down to Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Mall is across the street with lots of dining options.
