Extended Stay America Philadelphia - Cherry Hill

I only stayed one night, but the size of the room versus the price was a nice surprise. I've never stayed in an Extended Stay Hotel before. The only negative was that after leaving my room once, when I came back the door latch was broke. The attendent looked into it and she was going to have to place me in an entirely different room ( after I had already unpacked). Because there was only a problem if I had to leave again, I decided it best to just stay in the room. That would have been a mess to deal with. It would have been nice to have free internet.

They were a nice management there...we had a room with a lock did not work which management took care of by morning with another room. But there was limited service (no towels at times and had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper).

Very basic, but had everything we needed. The main thing we needed was proximity to an event we went to, and this filled the bill. We wouldn't have minded spending $20-$30 more for a nicer place, but there wasn't a choice as close to our destination. We would have liked a blanket that extended past the top edges of the bed so we didn't have to fight over it all night. And maybe better temperature control in the room. Basically, we got what we paid for.

I arrived after normal operating hours so I had to call the staff using the phone just inside the main door. I was then given a key to my room and was informed that all I had to do was to check in the next day. The woman at the desk was not the friendliest, but the rest of the staff acknowledged me as I came and went. When I needed a replacement for tissues and a Showtime guide, they were very friendly. The hotel is situated where two major roads come together and was convenience for going in any direction.
