Days Inn and Suites Cherry Hill - Philadelphia

we got the king suite with the jacuzzi. it was very large and comfortable. it had a large tv in the "living room" area, a huge "bedroom area" and a very nice jacuzzi. It was pretty clean except for two pickles stuck on a picture (i assume from a previous guest and the maid just missed cleaning them) and the mirrors had a film over them. it was a smoking room, so it could have been from the cigarettes. other then that, it was very nice for the money :) and the location was perfect. we were visting philadelphia and it was only about 10 mins from old city, and about 15 mins from the eastern state penn (where we were visting the most). and it was free parking.

I have traveled this country from coast to coast, Seattle to Miami, California to New York and everywhere in between. Along the way I have stayed in many hotels and I can say with absolute certainty that this hotel provided me with my very worst hotel experience ever and I will tell you why. Hotel staff was very rude and very unfriendly, unwilling to accomadate and very short. We arrived in our room to find it to be very unclean. With trash stuffed behind things, bloodstains on the blankets, a bathroom that stunk of urine and even someones dirty underwear stuff beside the bed. My wife and I were needless to say disgusted. There wasnt much to the breakfast which is only served from 6-9. But we couldnt get up that early anyway with the people partying on the balcony all night making it difficult to sleep. If I could give this hotel a negative rating I would. I would expect more from days inn but it is very apparent that this particular location does NOT hold their level of standard for cleanliness and hospitality. *Caution to any would-be guests*

We booked a jacuzzi suite and the room was not cleaned thoroughly. We could not stay there the last night and wanted to get a refund,[...]was willing to give us a refund but the manager of the hotel was very ignorant,was very unprofessional and would not let us speak to the owner. Out refund was never received because he stated we made up a "dumb" reason. Would not recommend to anyone.

Nothing terrible about this place but nothing great either. It was on the lower end of places I have stayed, thus the 2 star rating. Check-in guy was friendly but next shift lady, while not rude, did not impress me as a happy person. Breakfast was very sparce - just dry cereal or oatmeal and some pastries/bagels and not much variety of those. Room was very small. Tub was slow to drain and I dug out lots of hair so that we weren't showering in a full bath. It was clean and it was a decent price. Neighborhood was not the greatest but had no problems. Decently close to downtown Philly and historic sites. The room sizes are what they are but where they could improve and bump up to 3 or 4 stars is with better service.

I was almost afraid to go to sleep!

Not rude, but certainly a staff that was not friendly or helpful. I was told while making reservations chech-in would be 2 PM, but desk clerk wanted to hold us out until 3 PM. Carpets dirty, very noisy hotel too close to major roadway with big transport trucks. We couldn't sleep. Television had only one color, a sort or raspberry/purple. Overall a bad experience at this hotel.

just wanted a weekend getaway, great price, location to shopping was awsome, the mall was right down the highway, my problem was with the room itself, it just needed a little something, the cleanliness of the room was not good, there was dust and smashed bugs in the room that stayed on desk the intire time we were there, my husband left his glasses on the night stand and when we went back to get them 15 min. later the cleaning person said he didn't understand english he only clean room repeadedly saying the same thing.

The Motel was okay for the price but was a little dated.

- big issue on arrival. I booked a king size bed via [...]and we arrive around 7:00 pm. I was assured by [...]that my room choice was locked in. It was not. We were informed that due to our arrival time we lost that reservation and had to accept 2 twin bed room due none were left. I made sure when I booked the room that it was locked in but due to weather and traffic we arrived a bit later than planned.[...].- we also ran into a bit of attitude by staff supplying aspects of the continental breakfast but that was just on last day

Purpose = sleep and shower. Shortcoming - TV provided only one functional channel, and the remote didn't work.
