Beach front luxury
Our Sandpiper room was like a summer cottage at the beach! All white and blue with new contemporary touches! Spotlessly clean with everything seeming to be brand new! Stainless steel appliances! Full size fridge. And dont even start me on the bed! Plush and comfy! Lots of pillows and cover choices! Perfect beach view from the balcony and easy walking distance to the town center shops and restaurants! Finally the staff was amazingly kind and helpful!

Sandpiper Beach Club=not a hotel
I booked late in the evening, around 10 PM, as my schedule was not set in advance. When I got to the "hotel", which either Cheaptickets or the property itself had incorrectly listed as being on Beach DRIVE, which is North Cape May, and of course Mapquest sent me there, about 20 minutes away, it was after 11 PM. Called the property to find out that the desk closes at 11 PM, because the property is a CONDO, which occasionally rents out rooms by the night. The HOTEL next door had the keys, so I went there, and they had no record of my reservation. After 30 minutes or so, they rebooked the room, found keys, and I got a room, AFTER PAYING AGAIN. After an hour and a half of going to the wrong address and waiting for them to search for my reservation, create a new one, and find the keys. I sure hope Cheaptickets and the property works something out so I don't get charged twice, which the hotel clerk assured me they wouldn't. I didn't get enough sleep, had an early morning, but the bed was very nice, at least. Didn't use the living room or kitchen.

Book well in advance, and get there early, it is not a property set up for late bookings and arrivals.

Best View of the Ocean
The Sandpiper's location was perfect for shoping or the beach. while staying we did it all shop beach and dinner. It is walking distance to everything we needed to have a great stay in Cape May.
