Average

This room was average, no frig, no microwave, actually stayed at a cheaper place in the same area with a frig and a microwave. It served it purpose though

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

If staying here and need to grab a quick bite, dont order from the place advertised on the room keys, walk right next door and they have pretty nice deals in that restaraunt

basic place to crash

If you just need a basic room for the night, this will do. Nothing fancy, but for $50, good value, especially since it included a (modest) breakfast.

Good for a night

Checked in for a night at this motel as it is one of the few that are close to the Six Flags in the area. Got the room that was reserved at the correct price. Everything was clean enough and working. The bathrooms have been updated which is a plus. Stay here if you want a safe place to stay that doesn't cost much.

It was alright for the money

The room was alright and clean. The exterior of the building and grounds need desperate improvement. The lawn needed mowing, and security was lacking, it is an old Howard Inn building. It was alright but nothing to brag about, for the money it will do.

One night of nothing but headache

The tone for my experience at this hotel was set at check-in. Somehow, the hotel got my information crossed with someone else's. I had someone else's address, phone number, and credit card number under my name, which meant someone else had my information (including credit card number) under theirs. I tried to be proactive to figure out how to get my credit card number removed from the other person's account, but the front desk person said he couldn't look that up based on my credit card number. Not surprisingly so, my card was charged twice for this one-night stay. Additionally, when my boyfriend and I got to our room, we peeled back the sheets and saw a tick crawling around under the sheets. Even after removing the tick, we still woke up with some sort of bug bites all over our bodies. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to anyone else. Incompetent staff and bug-infested rooms.

Nothing special

It was ok, was dissapointed at lack of towels. Could of offered more pillows, bed spread was dingy and had holes. But room was super affordable, you get what you pay for.

[...]Checked in and found that the Queen Sized bed upgrade that we selected [...] was not available...in fact the motel has NO Queen Sized beds. Room was no-smoking as we requested and a sign posted in the room also stated the room was no smoking. Right next to the sign....an ashtray supplied by the motel. Breakfast, available 6:30 to 9:30 was coffee, orange juice, bagels, muffins and cream cheese. First motel I've been to in a long time where the shower water turns hot or cold when another room is using the water. Walls paper thin. You could clearly hear normal conversation in the next room, water running, toilets flushing etc etc. Curtains don't completely cover the windows and leak light badly. Toilet didn't shut off all night long. Sheets were dirty. So was the floor. Pillows were terrible. We're reasonable and not hard to please however this was not a good experience.

Econo-Lodge Bordentown, NJ

The facilities within the room were pretty basic; no hair dryer, they only offered shampoo and not shampoo and conditioner. The continental breakfast offered 2 choices of juice, coffee (no decaf), bagels, mini-muffins, and mini-danish...that was it.The room needed some re-modeling; one lamp shade was pretty tattered. The bathroom could have used some molding work.[...].We attended a men's barbershop chorus Christmas Show in Trenton...we only stayed the one night.

maybe the best super-cheap hotel ever

Like others have said, this hotel is a little rough around the edges, but we all had a good night's sleep. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfy. The rear building we stayed in had a cool cathedral ceiling and a small fridge and microwave.
