Signature Trump glitz and one of the world's largest casinos
The Donald must be a gambling man. A casino-centric resort, the Trump Taj Mahal is set on 17 acres of beach and Boardwalk real estate works hard to offer eclectic decor and plays hard in the slots, table games and poker departments. Business trip for convention.Some of the staff was nice some were not so friendly. The hotel charges for internet service didnm't like that.The hotel also has a gym and an indoor pool. They open at 7am and close at 7 pm with a charge of $20.00 for the gym. Since I was there for a business convention I could not make the times. They should have opened earlier or stayed open later or gave excess with room key.

This hotel is huge and magnificent. Quite clean yet without carpet in room it would give a cleaner and fresher feel. Overall nice hotel.

Comfortable stay
Overall the stay was fine. Free WiFi conenctivity was not available. No free breakfast. One had to subscribe/purchase AT&Ts Wifi service. Some of the local motels with cheaper rates advertised free Wifi and free Continental breakfast.

Updated accommodations for the price
The casino offered a variety of restaurants to choose from. A few upscale shops were there, unfortunately a faint smell of cigarette smoke permeated everything.

JUST BIZ
ROOM WAS OK DOORS ON CLOSET WOULD NOT SLIDE AND BROKEN SOAP DISH IN BATHROOM AND HOUSEKEEPING NEW IT WAS BROKE BECAUSE EVERDAY I WOULD TAKE IT DOWN AND THEY WOULD JUST SIT IT BACK IN PLACE THEIR FOR 3 NIGHTS NEXT TIME UPGRADE TO THE CHAIRMAN'S CLUB

Nightmare Start - Good Ending
Check In was a nightmare - but only because cheap tickets failed to provide the hotel with our confirmation. The customer service clerk was not helpful and basically kicked us to the side to deal with the situation. After calling [...] and spending 15 minutes on the phone, our confirmation finally showed up in the Hotels computer. The Manager on duty was great - when I approached him with the issue, he took action and made up for our experience by upgrading our room. Once we got past the check in nightmare, the rest of the stay was great. Room was great, restuarants were great and we had a relaxing weekend. I do not think I will ever book another hotel reservation through [...]
