The Donald must be a gambling man. A casino-centric resort, the Trump Taj Mahal is set on 17 acres of beach and Boardwalk real estate works hard to offer eclectic decor and plays hard in the slots, table games and poker departments. MY BABY AND I FIRST TRIP AWAY :O
we ate kunch and dinner inside the hotel. we gammbled and went swimming. visited the arcade. we both wanted to get in the jaccuzzi together however it was a seperate jaccuzi for men and women and the men jaccuzzi was not working. in addition there was an extra fee to utilize the jacuzuzi which i felt was unfair. there should be jacuzzi's in the chairman rooms which will be very accomodating for couples. well other trips allows couples to get in the jacuzzi together and other trips provide free breakfast for their guest. something else i want to mention is one of the front desk staff were unaware that the academy bus ports people back to their pick up location which i had to find on my own just walking around the hotel the morning before i was l=eaving i was told that the academy bus did not pick people up at the taj and would have to catch a cab or the jitney to another trump hotel to get academy bus. Also front desk and guest services are not on the same page i requested an ipod doc which the room stated it had before i booked it and when i got there it was no ipod doc i called fronmt desk they said they will bring one to the room i waited more than an hour went to gamble came back to the room it was not there called front desk again and they had me on hold io went to guest services they appeared to be confused then stated after a five minute wait that they have them in some rooms but they are mounted and can not be transported from one room to another

Chairman Tower the Best!
For a Holiday Getaway for some much needed R&R, the Taj was great! The Chairman Tower is very nice and the rooms are wonderful...big showers, double sinks and seperate toilet area. The king bed was delicious to come back to at the end of the day. With a refrig and coffee pot, what more could you ask for. The Casino is nicely laid out and with good odds, with smoking and non smoking areas. My one complaint here is not enough staff to keep the ashtrays empty and trash picked up....I was constanly searching for ashtrays and emptying ones I found. The Taj is located next to the Showboat but a good distance from the rest of the boadwalk hotels. My only disapointment was with the resturants and shopping....just not enough. Most eaterys and stores close around 10pm....I expect high prices but not to be able to get a cup of coffee or a sandwich at 11pm...Isn't this suppose to be a 24 hour casino?

There is a local Jitney service that runs down Pacific Ave. which we took for $2.25. You can pick it up or flag it down anywhere on Pacific ave.

Brief but good visit
My stay was brief(one-night), quiet, and restful. The environment was close to that of a ghost town due to the holiday. There was no need for a lot of interaction with staff or otherwise. It was a little disappointing that the great buffet was closed.

I left a night gown in the hotel. I called twice yesterday, talked to housekeeper and security. They cannot locate my night gown. I am very disappointed about their service. It was very expensive, made in France and new.

Great Time!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. We stayed in the Chairman Tower and were upgraded to a suite. The staff was friendly and the room was amazing. The only downside was having to walk through the smoking section of the casino to get to our room.

Horrible Experience
They kept telling me they couldn't find my reservation. Then finally after a half hour of waiting, they magically found it and did not upgrade me or give me a discount for my troubles and wasted time.
