College dorm, not a hotel

We were there on a Saturday night. Asked for a non smoking room and the whole floor smelt like cigars and pot. Asked to move the room and the front desk insisted they could do nothing but spray air freshener. Fights broke out everywhere all night long. One was very close to my fiancé and made her fall. Very unsafe overall. Look elsewhere unless you are traveling in numbers.

Little too pricey for hotel room

The hotel itself is very nice we stayed in the newer section, but we thought it was a little pricey for such a plain room with no anemities, just shampoo/conditioner. The room was clean but not worth the price. Our main complaint was the wait to check in, we waited over 40 minutes and for the peak time of check in, they needed more counter people.

Nice weekend trip

Overall the hotel/casino was nice. The elevators took forever to wait for leaving us to walk 22 flights. Sucked to use the pool cost money.

I love the Tropicana

Have been going to the Tropicana for the past five years, every time i visit A.C. I always have a good time, and have hit the jackpot a few times while there. Also it has great Imax theater and good attractions.

Dining tip: In Hotel

While there you must visit the Quater. Which is a shopping and dinnig area within the Hotel. It has high end stores for shopping, and good restaraunts, shuch as the Palm, Carmines, Red Square. But my favorite is Cubra Libra, cuban cuisine, very good food, and the flavored mojitos are the best.

Just okay...

I stayed on a Friday night with two friends. The hotel was very busy. [...] Some of the staff was rude but others were quite friendly. The first room they put us in was in the Havana Tower. There was poorly cleaned up vomit on the floor. They moved us to another room in the Havana Tower which was alright. Overall, I wouldn't rush to go back. The deal was good but I didn't have as much fun as I did previous visits.

Best place/Worst Place-depends...

[...]The room was BEAUTIFUL and HUGH with a whirlpool tub. I don't think the Tropicana is a place for young kids, but if you gamble, an amazing place! We didn't gamble, even a dollar, but still had a nice Valentine's dinner at one of the beautiful restaraunts in the hotel.

Entertainment tip: In Hotel

If you gamble, there is no place like it.If you want to take the family to the beach, choose a different city. The employees at the hotel are great...professional, courteous, kind.
