Great for gambling and close to beach

A clean, decent room. Beds weren't particularly comfortable. We got a good price for a weekday stay--weekend prices aren't justified, Lots of entertainment opportunities within walking distance. Parking was easy and reasonable. Location was excellent.

Want to get away?

I was upgraded to a better room when I arrived, which was nice. The wait to check-in took awhile, even though I arrived at 8pm. The casino had a lot of options, and the Marketplace and Quarter were very nice. The negative is that items were stolen out of my hotel room, and the security team wasn't very good about taking care of this issue. Instead of a hotel reimbursement, I was offered $40 in room service, and was told I could have a new room, but it wouldn't have a bed. When I went to check out the next day, the $40 had been charged to me, and I had to get it taken off of my bill. Overall, the location is great, and there are things to do, but just watch your belongings and try to have minimal contact with the staff.

Best orange juice but a Lousy hotel!

When we wlaked in w said "throw on that a/c quik!" since it was a very hot day to find out it was on as high as it went! When we went in the bathroom, the fan didnt work so there was no exhaust. We were there for a batchelor party at an Atlantic city hotel [*]. I would never go there again.....if every hotel was booked and the Tropicana had a room for me, I'd spend the night on the beach with the crabs!! Next time I will go to a real hotel like Trump plaza or Caesars! [...]

A very exciting birthday

The location was perfect & it was great to have many different restuarants to choose from right inside the hotel. The room could have been more classy. But over all it was a nice hotel & very clean. I will go there again.

excellent service

Me and my husband (it was our honeymoon) it was our first time staying at the Tropicana. When we got there before check in i decided to upgrade from a classic room to a jacuzzi suite. The lady was very nice but said she didn't see anything available except for on a low floor with no view but to come back in about an hour she would see what she could do. we went back and we were told there was nothing available by another receptionist then the lady from earlier came over and took us to her computer. She set us up in a pent house suite on the top floor with an excellent view of the beach. I could not of been happier. All of the workers were nothing but courteous and helpful ready to answer any question. When going back to Atlantic City I would not choose to stay anywhere else.

Great Stay!

Booked a room at a great price for a girls' night at the shore. Easy access to beach and boardwalk, close enough to walk to AC outlets, tons of great food and drink options at the hotel, and parking was only $5 during the week!
