Nice Hotel

We had tkts to see a show at boardwalk hall and needed a place to stay. Since the show was on the boardwalk we wanted to stay at a hotel on the boardwalk. We had our college age kids with us. Even though we do not gamble we loved being right on the board walk. There are plenty of things to do and great restaurants. I upgraded my room to the House of Blues suite for $150 and was glad i did. The kids room was just a basic hotel room nothing fancy (but clean). The hotel was really nice. We like to work out, the fitness center was terrible. Very small, bike was squeaky, no free weights to speak of, one universal like machine , that's it. We are not the typical atlantic city family. Our friends stayed at the borgotta, it was very nice but i'd rather stay on the boardwalk at at a 4 star vs a coupe miles away at a 5 star.

Great location for the price

The Hotel and casino were great over-all. My biggest dissappointment was when I arrived, the hotel was over booked and did not have a room for me, despite having confirmed reservations and paying in advance of my travel. In turn I had to wait in the lobby with my luggage for two hours until they found me a room. Others who had not paid in advance were shuttled to nearby hotels some of which did not offer casino action. This I find unacceptable
