Just outside the lobby doors of the Sheraton Atlantic City, take care of business at the Atlantic City Convention Center, shop at 100 outlets stores or sit back on the deck of Tun Tavern brewery and restaurant. A few more blocks lead to the casinos and carnival pastimes of the famous Boardwalk. The Hotel is a good value, but it was 4 blocks from the boarwalk/casinos/Beach which isnt bad but once your walking back and forth on the boardwalk it gets to be a tiresome walk. The hotel is very quiet, probably because its so far away from the nightlife.Everyone was pretty friendly. The resturants and cafes in the hotel itself were kinda pricy.(you can find cheaper food on the boarwalk & theres an applesbees right around the courner) The pool is tiny and it smelled like chlorine mixed with pee, so i wouldn't recommend it. Also, the hotel was pretty much clean, but the comforter and dust ruffle in the room had stains on them! You do have to pay for parking its $14/ Night! * But if you sign up for total rewards card they give you coupons for free parking along the casinos on the boardwalk.

Great location for the price!
My husband and I went to Atlantic City for our 1 year anniversary. We arrived at the hotel at 12:00pm and even though the check in was at 3pm they let us start using our room at 12:00pm. The room was great and the bed was even better! we had a big window with a view of all the casinos, it was wonderful! The hotel is only 4 blocks from the beach so we parked the car and walked to the beach and to the casinos. Plus we got to walk around the outlets. Next time we go to atlantic city we'll stay at this hotel.

"The Walk" is in front of the hotel and the Cesar's Palace, Bally's and the beach are only 4 blocks away from the hotel.

Location, Location, Location.
My only concern was the flushing of toilets an dchildren crying late at night, noting the hotel cna do about the child crying, but it was annoying.

Comfortable and low key
Room was nice and comfortable with fantastically comfortable beds,bedding and pillows. The fitness center tho small had good machines and we used it every day which was nice because it rained the whole time we were there. The pool too small to enjoy when more than 4 or 5 people in it but just right for small children . All in all our stay was good, anyone who wants to go shopping at the many stores in Atlantic city would find this location perfect, 10 minute or so walk to the boardwalk, we saw the air show which was interesting and different.Not very good view from our room , but did not mind that.We had a refrigerator which was good as Atlantic City is not the place for healthful dining.

Great place but.....
Check-in was reasonable considering it was the weekend. Complimentary coffee and bottled water in room but no fridge nor microwave. there was an icemaker available on the floor. Location was great right in the heart of factory outlets which my wife loved very much.It was a great stay and we made the right choice.

Great price, clean hotel
My experience at the Sheraton is always good. The rooms are always clean, hotel clean and customer service is good. The parking could be cheaper or free. It's $14 for self parking for 24hrs and $20 for valet parking for 24 hrs. Overall, it's a good place to stay for the price and convenience of shopping, dining,quiet and clean atmosphere.

Hmmm Sheraton Hotel in Atlantic City
There were not many incentives for staying at this particular hotel other than the price for the location it was in. We even had to pay for drinking the bottled water that was in the room. Initially we thought they were complimentary. Even the in-room movies were expensive. It was cheaper to go to the movie theatre. It would have been nice to have been provided with a least a complimentary breakfast (continental or otherwise) and free in-room internet. Also, the parking could have been free or less expensive for patrons of the hotel. My husband and me spent most of our time out of the hotel. We dined at the Tun Tavern the first night, but compared to other places nearby, the cost was unreasonable for what we ordered. The best feature of the hotel, for us, was the bed (not the pillows). The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. I wish we could have had a bigger bath tub and/or shower stall. I did appreciate the business center where I was able to access the internet for free, although I would have preferred to do so in my room

Showboat folks were great
Good experience. The first room that they put me in smelled smoky and was right next to an elevator. I asked staff to remedy the problems which was done stat and at no cost to me. Good customer relations!
