Stylish waterfront hot spot in Atlantic City's Marina District
Off the Boardwalk and definitely different, this bayfront hotel delivers its own signature scene. At the year-round, indoor tropical oasis housed under a 90-foot glass dome, relaxation goes island style with a sculpted pool, six hot tubs, cabanas (fees apply) and waitresses who deliver island fare. In the evening, Pool After Dark sizzles with DJs, dancing and bottle service. Families find their own fun pool for a more all-ages crowd. Those craving some time on the Boardwalk take advantage of the hotel's free shuttle service.
Highlights
- At the Pool, a 90-foot glass dome covers a cool, pool scene by day and a multi-level nightclub at night
- Award-winning Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa
- Classes at the Viking Cooking School
- Family Fun Center with pool, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, shuffleboard, island music, and beverage bar
- Expanded casino floor with 3,800 machines and a 20-table poker room
Rooms
Count on a bay views, coffeemakers and pay-per-view movies from any one of the 2,590 spacious guest rooms and suites in 5 towers. The newer 44-story Waterfront Tower is the largest hotel structure in New Jersey. Exotic hardwood flooring and dark wood furniture offer a bit of downtown chic in the Marina Luxury rooms.
Features
Choose from seven restaurants, including The Steakhouse (try the Angus roast prime rib with a fine vintage from the glass-enclosed wine cellar), Reflections Cafe and the Waterfront Buffet with its nine different destinations for the full Atlantic City experience. In addition to the hopping nightlife of Pool After Dark, Xhibition Bar serves up its own scene in the heart of the casino floor. Eden Lounge combines live music and karaoke with video poker games.
Guests at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City will find a host of signature treatments at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, which has claimed a SpaFinder Readers' Choice Award two years in a row. All guests can use their room key to access the 24-hour fitness center. Shoppers seeking an upscale experience won't want to miss the seven waterfront boutiques.

Good Deal for College Students on Wednesdays
Like the title says, if you're a college student and strapped for cash, then Wednesday nights at Harrahs is the venue for you. The rooms are priced a bit cheaper and you can find oppurtunities through promoters to access Harrah's club- "Pool After Dark," for free. It seems that Harrah's is the place for a younger demographic, so you'll fit right in. But keep in mind, that these nights typically do tend to get a bit rowdy.

Great mid week get away
We arrived in A/C about 11:30 am and spent several hours on the boardwalk, prior to checking in to the hotel. We self parked our car at Harra"s around 3:300pm and checked in to the hotel. It was a breeze, the desk personal were friendly and informative. Our room was large and clean with two beds and a great view of the marshes loaded with people fishing in small boats. upon leaving our room we took a long walk around the river walk and then through the hotel. Dinner was in the Mexican restaurant. The meal was very good and plentiful. Had break-feast the next morning at Sammy D's and left the hotel around 11:30am all refreshed and ready to face the world

Fun night out
they didnt have the room I booked available because they over booked. We stayed there because we wanted to eat at the steakhouse but it was "unavailable" as they stated. Just wanted more out of our stay. Room was really nice, after they upgraded us since we didnt agree to smaller beds.

Couples escape
I did not feel strongly positive or negative about this hotel. I do feel as though this hotel is very adults only. I had to bring my ID to the pool because people under 21 were not allowed in and I didn't realize this so I had to go back to the room and get my license to enter. This was at 9am. What if I had brought my children with me to the pool? Are they even allowed in? Staff was very short with me. Whenever I called front desk with questions they would answer and hangup on me when I had more than one question so I had to call numerous times. Buffet was great and well worth it and also the bars are all very nice!
