Ascot Motel Beach Block

It's not extremely clean, and the pool wasn't open. But it's right next to Tropicana which has all the good bars and clubs. Also right next to boardwalk.

We enjoyed the hotel. Would recoomnd it to any group of friends looking for a cheap place to stay will out partying in in Atlantic city.

Room was gross, shower didn't work. Bathroom was in need of total re-do. Bed were clean, NO BEDBUGS, I checked! If you are looking for a nights sleep it's was fine, not some place to take the wife and kids, The desk guy was extremely nice and let us park our car their for the entire day even though we checked out.

This hotel is nothing like it is advertised. We are from the west coast and have never been to Atlantic city before. We booked this hotel because it seemed like a good deal and the description and pics looked good. When we arrived their was trash lying all over the place, shady characters hanging out in and around the hotel, and the staff was anything but helpful and accommodating. we ended up not staying at that hotel, it did not feel safe. We went down the street and stayed at the Days Inn it cost a little bit more but was well worth it I would recommend looking their for a good hotel at a great price.

We checked out not even 4 hours after getting there... after we came back from dinner and started to get settled down for the night we found bugs on pillows... couldn't even bring ourselves to lift the blankets. The room was dirty, even the towels looked like they hadn't been washed in years!

My friends and I wanted an inexpensive place to stay for a girls night in Atlantic City. This hotel was inexpensive and provided exactly what we needed for the evening. The room was clean. The location was an inexpensive cab ride to the Borgata.

I booked 2 rooms for 6 of us (4 kids). First I dont know why, there were rooms with 3 beds in them we could have used, but whatever. The one door barely even closed we had to really slam it! There were no hair dryers like stated, never found an ice machine like it said in the description, bathrooms were moldy. From our rooms we could watch the hookers on the corner (although there were many all throughout the city!), I guess at least these were higher class ones then some we saw! We were there 3 nights, and I may have slept 2 hours each night due to the noise all night long! I think every taxi driver there likes their horns a little too much! and I mean ALL NIGHT!! The WiFi barely had a signal either, but it was there. On the plus side, it was a nice short walk to the beach/boardwalk and right across the street from the Tropicana Casino. Unfortunately, thats it for the positive.

I could not begin to explain the dirty nasty cheap dump this hotel IS! It took 3 times for them to finally get a double non smoking room which actually had a ash tray..oh and I wont forget it had a broken room window covered with sheetrock and painted then covered with a curtain.I was first sent to a room occupied by another person that I walked in on while they were getting dressed, then they sent me to a single double sized room. I made sure I returned late as possble so I didnt have to be anywhere near this place and I made sure I check out like 7:30. I would not stay there if i could for free! Please dont do it to yourself. Im actually going to contact orbitz and try and have them not endorse this filthy place. One other tid bit when I checked out to make sure I had everything under the bed were beer cans cigarette packs and empty plactic cups, YEAH

We booked this hotel, but did not stay there. A few girlfriends and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel for one night for a Bachelorette party. EXTERIOR: When we pulled up, we thought it looked like a crime scene. The parking is double, so if you park someone in you have to leave your keys at the desk. The whole building and outside area smelled like urine and trash. I did not feel safe at all. INTERIOR: When we got into the room, it was dark and dingy. There was one small lamp by the bed to light the entire room. The comforter was a cheap leopard print and the beds were barely a double. The mattress was a double, but was too big for the box spring. The box spring looked like it was 20 years old and pulled out of a dumpster. There were no bed skirts, so it was easily visible. When you sat on the edge of the bed, the whole thing sunk down so that it touched the floor. I was afraid to sit down on the chairs (which were metal with a cloth seat) because they had stains on them (of what I don't want to know). BATHROOM: Oh, where do I start? The toilet had stains of wear on the seat. The toilet paper WASN'T EVEN ON THE ROLL (how lazy is that? I'm sure they really clean well too..). The sink was tiny, with no room to get ready. The bathtub was golden rod (which I'm sure hides the stains well) and the bathmat was paper. But there was an extra surprise: a long, curly black hair waiting for us on the hand towel. We spoke to [...] and they were willing to give us our money back, however the men at the front desk were not. They were extremely rude. They thought that place was a palace (which it might be if you are from a 3rd world country). We ended up finding a place 6 miles outside of AC for a cheaper price that was a beautiful, CLEAN, relaxing resort. It was incredible. The ONLY thing that the Ascot has going for it is the location. Personally, I'd rather pay $7 for a taxi to go to the boardwalk/club/casino than sleep in filth. A number of my friends said they felt like stuff was crawling on them... we couldn't get out of The Ascot fast enough!
