NOT worth the $$

If i had gotten this room for $40, i would be less disappointed. For starters, when i went to iron my shirt i saw the iron had gunk all over it as did the ironing board. When i tried to finda phone in my room to call the front desk - i found out my room did not have one. i went down to the front desk and the staff was pleasant, but knew there was no phone and gave some lame excuse about wiring problems. Then the fact that the bleed through noise from all over (hallways, next door, etc) was terrible, and on the third floor we could hear the club on the first floor's music clearly. (we came in from our event that was elsewhere around 1:30am) After an awful night's sleep, we just wanted to shower and leave but the bathroom was tiny and the shower was like trying to bath in a waterfountain. Plus side there was bagels and coffe in the main foyer at checkout which was a plus. Like i said, had this been a dirt cheap hotel you'd expect those things but in a place over $100 a night you expect to at least take a decent shower.

Relax at the beach

Trip was a last minute time to get a away for a few days. I needed tojust relax on the beach & get away from my day to day world - & that's what I did!Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Hotel was clean and very welcoming. Would like to have known that on-site restaurant and clubs were only open on week-ends, as I was there mid-week.Pool bar was friendly. Had coffee & bagels in lobby one day but only coffee the others. ???Overall a nice stay & I will go back again.

While hotel restaurant was only open on weekends, there is a very nice place a few blocks up on the boardwalk. Good food and staff and alfresco dining if you;re so inclined. Nice bakery and some eateries in Convention Hall for lunch, breakfast or snacks.

Great rooms. I was there for the 4th of July and watched the fireworks from my balcony. Great restaurants and bars directly across the street. Fun pool scene with 2 bars. Only a 10 minute walk into town. Great centrally located hotel.
