Lovely Lakeside Cabin

Cozy little New Hampshire cabin in a family camping style campground. The beach is located within walking distance and offers a large deck and plenty of privacy for a couples get away as well. Spent time at the race track and touring the famous Weirs Beach area. Took a boat and train tour and explored the National Forest on our way home. I would recommend Anchorage at the Lake and we certainly plan to return next summer. Pete and Stacy Memphis, NY

Weekend getaway - not so good very "rustic"

Cabin is very outdated. It was clean. Reserved a cabin for 2 and was surprised when we had twin beds. Linolium coming up and had holes in it. Bathroom small. Toilet was so close to sink you could rest your head on it. Sink was rusty. No Air Conditioning, but fans provided. Black electrical tape holding power cords into outlet. Our reservations had checkout time of 10:00 am theirs were 9 am. No negotiation.

Basic and Functional

Check in and check out were easy. The cabin was clean, but these facilities appear to have been built in the 1950s, so don't expect elegance. Lots of towels, hand soap and dish soap, but no shampoo so bring your own. Cabins are close to one another, so if your neighbors are quiet, you will sleep well. Great for fishing, swimming, sunning, canoeing, kayaking, frisbee.

Not bad

It was a nice cozy little cabin. A bit musty smelling like it had some previuos water damage. But not bad.
