great location walking distance to everything no need to drive and great staff! clean and nice place to stay while visting.

This is a beautifully appointed hotel with everything you would expect at a luxury hotel. Very nice pool and gym. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was steps from all the important places in town. I'd definitely go again.

We mainly shopped while we were up there only hitting the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast. At night we would end up at the hotel bar. They had live music on Friday night. Joe Young was the guys name, he was very good.

We had a seamless check in. The valet was speedy and front desk personel where very accomodating. The rooms are very well appointed. The King size bed was very plush and comfortable. The first thing we noticed was how clean the room and bathroom were. Spotless. The linens were of high quality and extremely fresh smelling and very well laundered. I have traveled all over the US and this stay was one of the best overall. We went to a local theatre for a musical show and got back to the hotel around 10pm. We decided to go sit in the bar area and had a few drinks. The bar tender was cordial and accomodating. The bar area was very clean and the tables wiped down and presentable. The lobby bathrooms were also very clean and sanitary. When we travel back to Portsmouth I would be very hesitant to try another hotel after staying here. Without a doubt we will be back. Highly recommended!

Everything was wonderful. Pool area was small and no tub in the room. The shower was spacious and very nice but I missed having a tub in the room.

Location is great for downtown shopping. Nice stores with unique merchandise. We were visiting relatives in the area, so that was our main reason for staying at the hotel. Staff at the hotel from front desk to waitresses in the restaurant are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The only meal we ate at the hotel was breakfast and it was O.K., but basically just average.

Stayed overnight for a party. When we got back around 2:00am, there were people in the lobby just having fun. Hilton would rather have guests goof off in the lobby instead of their rooms and wake up the neighbors.

Great hotel. Nice rooms with free wifi, HD TV and super comfy beds. Always fresh chocolate chip cookies at the lobby desk. My package included breakfast. Lot of choices and plenty of fresh fruit. Great location within a one block walk of Market St in Portsmouth. I parked my car and did need to retrieve it until I was leaving town. I would definitely stay here again.

If you need to be in walking distance the location is great. Cost of rooms ($225+, size of rooms, and additional costs for valet parking ($12/day plus tips)were high for value. Also had to pay $10.95 per person for breakfast, even if we just had one cup of coffee. Rooms were clean, but inadequate towels...small and thin. I would pay less and stay a little further from Market St next time.
