visiting UNH

Room was comfortable, but Spartan. Breakfast was pretty bare-bones, perhaps due to the abundance of eateries in area. Location (very near interstate) was great, rates low. Good value for an O/N, but wouldn`t want an extended stay here.

Long weekend

The staff (Matt) was pleasant and accomodating. I thought the "continential breakfast" was OK. I expected a little more than bagels, English muffin or cereal. My husband liked the idea of 24 hour coffee. There wasn't an extra blanket in room, had to ask housekeeping for one.

Christmas shopping

Good place to stay while shopping in the area. Could use a bigger breakfast area.

Great Value

For the price I don't see how you could do any better in Portsmouth. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Try the Library at the Rockingham for lunch, still get to enjoy the beautiful dinning room, while you may need reservations for night meal.

Not bad for the price

Check in was fast and easy. The staff does make an effort to be helpful and is courteous.

Comforts of a 3 star on a 2 star budget

Check in staff extremely friendly and accomodating; she immediately offered to change our room location to ensure us peace and quiet. Warm baked cookies at check-in is always a nice touch and room decor and comfort was similar to that of a Sheraton or Marriott despite the basic appearance of the exterior building. Elevator was fast and continental breakfast made our stay welcoming. We did not use the internet however, that was no charge also. You could sense that this property is well managed and staff understand what is expected.

As Expected

Was a decent, affordable hotel. Can walk to Portsmouth no problem if it's warm out. Everything was as expected for the price.
