You won't believe it!

2nd day (Monday)- Husband's 82nd birthday-- awoken by flashing lights, sirens - over micr., told to "Evacuate Building- Fire Alarm". 2:30 a.m. Whole building standing outside in 9 degree weather until they let us congregate in the lounge area until the firemen came. Not a good situation, fortunately we got to our car for the half hour or so of waiting before entering the building. Thanks to Chevrolet for making heated seats. Poor husband didn't feel much like skiing the next day, so lost that one. But, at least it wasn't a fire, only sprinklers going off in the east wing. Didn't get any sort of refund, which would have been nice.

Outlet Shopping Trip

Very clean, spacious room. Friendly staff. Great location. Only drawback was that the 4 season pool is only open between 4pm and 9pm. Overall a great place to stay.

Great stay (second visit)

Very comfortable and clean hotel with attentive staff. The location is great because it is adjacent to the Outlets, near many restaurants, CVS, Wal-Mart, etc. Awesome pools: one inside with a large hot tub, and another pool and an even larger hot tub outside. There's also a great zero-entry pool outside for kids. The water is warm and the swimming areas were very clean. The buffet breakfast was good, although a bit chaotic with the crowds, but that's to be expected and the wait staff handled the crowds well. The movie theater was nicely set up, although one day the Blu-Ray player didn't work so there were no movies. The ice cream social is fun, too. The only small disappointment is that the kids "games" was merely a room with some board games set up and no staff, although this didn't bother my kids. The front desk has a large selection of DVDs to borrow and play in the rooms, where DVDs are standard. Rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. The room was a bit noisy at night due to hallway noise, but this is a hotel for families with young kids, so I'd expect some noise. The wireless internet worked only intermittently, but the front desk staff compensated me for my troubles. This was my second visit and I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

All under one roof

While on a business trip, we arrived late, but we were pleased that the restaurant/bar was open until 10:00pm. The room was clean and good size. The walls were thin and guests were loud with children running up and down the halls until midnight. The fact that the pool was open late and it was Mother's day weekend could have attributed to that. Staff was nice.

Business trip

I was there only a short time as I had an early morning meeting. I took a short walk to the outlets for a few hours and brought food back to the room to eat while I did some work. The room was very comfortable and large. You don't often get a microwave and refridgerator along with a work table and chairs. Free wifi! The workout room has improved from when I was there before. I asked for it to be opened an hour early so I could get my workout in before my 8:00 meeting. The complimentary coffee is nice too! I did not use the pool this time but have in the past and it is great to be able to be out in the snow in a really warm pool.

The outlets are right in front of the hotel. They are the best in N. Conway. In the spring the hours are much more limited and they close at 6.

North Conway Grand Hotel

North Conway is a beautiful area to travel to, went snow mobieling and snow tubing. The hotel was average. They advertise free breakfast but since booking was through [...]they didn't allow it, movie selection was lame, the outside pool and hot tub was very nice except they don't open when there are snow flurries..the indoor pool was crowded and the resturant is very pricey within the hotel. The rooms were clean, but the maid services were not the best.
