Fairfield Inn by Marriott Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

stayed there 10/29. freak snow storm. hotel lost power. no hot water, no coffee, sidewalks barely shoveled, staff not very sympathetic. didnt get to see hotel at all because emergency power only in hallways/rooms. left by 8am next morning. couldnt they have more generators? would have liked to shower or had a coffee in morning, left at 8am and went straight home.

Came in late, very friendly. Great breakfast. Sleep great.

Excellent self serve breakfast from 06:00 to 09:00 AM They have a computer in a small room adjecent to the lobby. The rooms were very clean and excellent. The staff was friendly

We stayed here because my daughter and niece attended a national dance competition at the Radisson which was about 5 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and neat.

we visited family, there were no laundry bags, no body lotions. the sataff was great and helpful atthe front desk, and in the dining area.

Great getaway weekend. Very nice hotel and great hotel staff.

After a tiring series of flight delays, I appreciated the warm and efficient welcome I got at the Inn. I was invited to have breakfast In the morning. (Yes, "invited." Nice touch.) I was offered a wake-up call, something I usually forget until I get in bed. Once in bed, four comfortable pillows put me right to sleep. The breakfast buffet offered top quality, name brands served with fresh fruit and above-average coffee.

I was trying really hard to LOVE this hotel. The room was nice and clean and QUIET. The service was excellent. (beyond excellent, actually). But I can't go back. In fact, I don't think I'll stay at a Fairfield Inn or any other Marriott chain again. There was a device in the room that looked just like a television / TV, but it wasn't a TV. It was some kind of smart terminal designed to deliver pay-per-use services. You know... games, movies, Internet. Everything wicked expensive, of course. At first, I couldn't find any "television" programming at all, just pay-per-use junk. I had to wade through several menus to find a program guide which allowed me to access certain channels. The worst part was, when I finally found how to access TV, some of the channels we were supposed to have were blank. Later, I found that if you hit channel up/down, you could sometimes escape from the pay-per-use menus and go straight to TV programming. However, more than once when I was using the up/down channel button to change channels, the system kicked me out of watching TV, right back to the pay-per-use main menu. Or, the thing (not a TV) just turned off. Now I know I'm a bad parent for allowing my toddler to get addicted to TV. But, imagine dealing with a TV-addicted toddler with no TV in the room. Any parent should be cringing at that thought. As I checked out, I was still trying to decide whether I'd ever come back. It was an overall nice motel and the service was excellent. But after I got home, I noticed that Fairfield Inn had placed an unauthorized $60 hold on my debit card. No doubt this is to cover anticipated charges on the (thing that's not a TV). Needless to say, I was really angry about that. Marriott, you've lost a customer for life.

This was our first visit to Manchester - we usually go through Providence or Boston. Manchester Airport is a gem, and your Hotel, with it's excellent location, will be a place we will use frequently in the future.

The stay was quiet and restful, rooms are clean and staff is extremely friendly. I especially like the continental breakfast buffet.
