unpleasant stay
The advertisment for this hotel is very misleading. I found the general hotel room to be very dingy with stained rugs, old smelly bedding and a broken bed. They advertise free continental breakfast and wi-fi. Upon check in you receive notice that continental breakfast is only for two people (even if the other part of your party are children) and the connection to wi-fi was scattered at best. We were given no notice that the hotel was underconstruction, and they had no directional signage for check in. The inside pool house doors were locked and the Beacon (connected hotel) pool was falling apart under your feet. After moving to another room, we requested an upgrade even if we had to pay. They offere a suite for $900 more or a cottage. We where moved to a cottage (better shape than the hotel rooms), which is a down grade, per the orbitz website, and received no refund or offer of one. I will not recommend this hotel or stay at it again.
