Mt Washington Getaway

Headed up to NH to see top of Mt Washington but it was to cloudy to go up or take Cog Railroad, unfortunate for us. However the Nordic Village was much better that anticipated, the rooms and views were beautiful. Would not hesitate to book this location again. If you have young kids story Land is within walking distance. lots to do and had fun even though weather didn't cooperate.

Great getaway

My husband and I spent a night away here and had a fantastic time...they had lots going on for people to do. I liked that they had a family pool area and an adult pool area. Our room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. It is close to many local attractions yet far enough away from town that it wasn't contested. We will definitely go back again for another night away!

The red fox tavern was excellent and is right down the street...just get there a bit early because it can get busy.

Kids loved the place

This two bed condo was comfortable, clean, and well located for our activities, but needs updating. Tiles in both bathrooms were coming up under our feet and 1980's wall paper was peeling off the walls. Great view of the mountains from living room and nice balcony. Two outdoor pools, one indoor pool and two hot tubs were a big hit for husband and boys. Game room with pool table, foos ball, ping pong, etc also nice to have on site.

Nice family spot

We just spent 3 nights and 4 days at the Nordic and it was money well. The location is ideal, away from the traffic of North Conway and a stones throw from Storyland. Can't wait to stay again.

Family friendly

The location, just north of N Conway is perfect for avoiding the crowds and getting to the white mountains. Units are spacious and great for a small family (we went with our daughter, son in law and their infant). Rooms are well equipped but tired and need some sprucing up. Be aware that all units are not air conditioned. Ours was, with a primitive unit, but it worked after a few warm hours initially. here are interesting amenities on the property, but we were too busy hiking to use them. If you don't expect the Ritz and daily maids service, this is a perfect place.

The Christmas farm Inn in Jackson has a remarkably reasonable restaurant with excellent food. Daily specials are a bargain.

Perfect for a visit to Story Land

The hotel is not fancy or even upgraded, but it's a great option for families traveling with kids to go to Story Land. SO close to the park, lots of kid-friendly restaurants, and on the property the pools and bonfire and things to do are great and easy. The condos haven't been updated since the 90s, but if you're going with kids you're not looking to sleep late and enjoy the room, so it's perfect.

it was nice 9 years ago

we stayed here 9 years ago for our anniversary. location is great, just north of the hustle and bustle, great views and setting...outside. we came back with our kids for a storyland stay. It's a "good" location for kids. some small pools, hills to exhaust them on, a small playground. Inside is step back to the 90's. dated oak furniture, broken floor tiles, wallpaper seams all separated, mildew covered ac, blown light bulbs, hairs on the blankets, and bloodstains on the bed sheets. VCR players! #without cables to hook them up# a bath fan that sounded like a lawnmower. The facility is in disrepair and just seemed abandoned. it's a shame because a little work would bring it right back to life. I felt like we overspent. spend your money elsewhere.
