Ashworth by the Sea Hotel

rooms given to Orbitz customers are small and lacked amenities such as refrigerator and microwave,all else was ok

Basically wanted to go to the beach but because of rain had to just shop mostly. The comedy show was excellent though. We really enjoyed it. Very surprised there is no coffee maker available in the rooms. That was not a good surprise. Also attended the breakfast buffet. Would not do it again for the money.

the day before we arrived to the hotel , I had called to ask about a refrigerator in the room, I was told we can have one for 10 dollars a nite. So I asked for one to be in our room. We never got the refrigerator but they did charge our account for it. Nothing was said about a charge to park your car, my opinion when your staying in a hotel parking should be included. we had to pay 21.00 extra for parking. That upset me. We ate at the hotels resturaunt. I ordered the baked lobster pie. The lobster was imitation., We were very disappointed. We asked for an ocean front room we did not get. I was very disappointed!!! Not what I expected at all.

I was only passing thru for one night. The staff was very freindly and polite. I had my dog with me and even he was treated as a guest. Room was clean with a nice side deck and a view of the ocean.

Lovely location by the ocean .... would recommend without question. Unfortunately only stayed 2 nights and both nights the weather was BAD. We were there in mid-May .... the town has not started the summer season yet. Thanks staff ..... very nice ... very friendly.

Went to a concert, staff was friendly, food and serive in the dinning room could have been better. Overall, would stay there again even offseason and in the summer.

well the staff was great theroom on the other hand for the money i paid was not worth it the room was one step bigger than a broom closet the shower had no pressure the temperature in the broom closet was un controlable if it wasnt to hot it was to cold the bed was a king size bed that was like sleeping on a piece of granite [...]

This was a nice hotel right on the main strip and across the street from the beach. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We paid extra for an ocean front view but got a room on the side of the hotel (which does look out to the ocean) but the balcony was so small you couldn't even fit a chair on it. That was a little disappointing. Great breakfast buffet and nice pool.

I arrived to friendly staff and a clean ocean view room, just like the ad said. The hotel is an older hotel well kept up right on the beach. The season is over but you would never know it, the breakfast cafe was open and inviting and pool open. This is a really nice place to stay and I am looking forward to going back soon.

Very nice hotel & great view. Just a short walk to the beach and very close to boardwalk. Good restaurant. Enjoyed a moonlight walk on the beach and watched a beautiful sunrise from the room.
