Comfy, Clean, Convenient, Great Service
I stayed here for four nights while snowboarding in New Hampshire and Maine. The Inn is about half an hour from several ski areas, so I never felt like I was running out of options. My room had older decor, but was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Heating worked well, and there was plenty of hot water. The food at the restaurant was good and fairly priced, and the service was great. Everyone was kind and helpful. I will return to the Town and Country Inn the next time I go to the northern section of the White Mountains.

Beautiful Fall Location
Great fall foliage view out the front room windows. Clean A little worn in spots. Staff does their best to please. Restaurant OK food. Surprised at how much more the reservation company charged than the amount invoiced by the hotel. A little farther from Mt. Washington in time than I expected.

Nice Room & Good Food
Had a very nice room overlooking the golf course across the road. Adequate dining room with good food. Good fitness center. A nice place to stay.

Nice hotel, Wrong Address
First off, I'd like to say that [...] Google, and my GPS all had the wrong address for the hotel. All of them listed the address as "20 US 2, Gorham, NH". We spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the hotel because we were misinformed. We finally went to Town & Country's own website and the address is actually "2 US 2 (or Main Street) Gorham, NH." Needless to say, we were peeved that we spent so much time driving around trying to find the place. Wrong address aside, the hotel was in a good location, especially if you snowmobile. The trails conveniently run right by the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I can't say much about the pillows because I always bring my own pillow when I stay at hotels. Something about using a pillow a dozen other people have used before freaks me out. There is a restaurant in the main hotel building (I don't know how the food is because I didn't eat there) and the staff were very friendly. The only downside to T&C is that the walls are VERY thin. When everyone was getting ready in the morning, we could hear the conversations going on in both of the rooms next to us as if we were in the room with the other people. Other than that, everything was great and I'd definitely stay here again.

If you're into skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or ziplining you could drive up to Sunday River in Maine. It's about 40 minutes away and the staff was awesome.

Nice hidden gem, not too far from Sunday River, cheapest option in town for four people, nice pool/sauna. Good dining room and nifty live band
