This hotel isn't fancy but is a good value and the staff seemed nice. The room was clean and everything worked.

My stay was very disappointing. I arrived to be told that I had received an upgrade to the apartments. I'm thinking ok, more room, although I didn't really need it. Where I ended up was across the parking lot in a building detached from the main hotel that was very old. I was ok with older, but I found the hallways smelled like curry, which lead me to think that someone had dropped take-out food on the carpet from the nearby Indian restaurant and housekeeping had not done a good enough job of cleaning it up. Upon making my way to my room, I found the accommodations to be a step back in time. The room appeared tidy, but was not clean enough for me. I decided oh well, it's only 2 nights. The absolute worst hotel experience was yet to come. As I turned down the bed I noticed what looked like crumbs of some sort between the sheet and then I noticed a large, what appeared to be old blood stain on the underside of the comforter. To say I was disgusted is clearly an understatement. This was bad. Great location, great potential, but I would not recommend.

The help was very nice. Apparently the heat was almost off (50 degree) when I came in. This was a day where the temps never got to 20 deg. It took almost 4 hrs to get to 70deg. The bathroom floor is ice cold as there are no baseboard heaters in the room making it a bit uncomfortable. Otherewise the room was clean with plenty of light with coffee maker, wifi, hairdryer. My only issue is that given the temps and knowing that the room was to be used, they should make sure the heat is at a reasonable level - even 60-65. Then it would not take so long to become bearable. I was here for business purposes only and only for one night. As I said the hotel employees were gracious and helpful. I did not press the heat issue as there was nothing that could be done except wait for the room to heat up.

My husband, son & I stayed in a double while my sister & her family stayed in a suite. I definitely suggest spending the extra money for a suite, especially with children. It was huge! I was disappointed with my double. The walls were very thing and even though we were in a non-smoking section, many people routinely smoked right outside so my 2 1/2 year old had to walk through a cloud of smoke every time he went outside. The hairdryer in the room did not work at all and there was no conditioner or even shampoo & conditioner in one. I am sure I could have gotten some if I went to the front desk but I didn't realize this until I was ready to take my shower.

My family had a great stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The DVD/VHS players in the room were a godsend for the younger kids. The pool was warm, clean and centrally located. The continental breakfast was great. Location was with 1/2 hour of most destinations.

When we arrived we realized that the area was dealing with the aftermath of a storm which dumped some really wet,heavy snow but worse there had been a lot of strong wind with trees down etc...causing wide spread power failures. Just down the street many businesses had no power and traffic lights at intersections were still out. In spite of this the hotel staff was ready to receive guests and acted as though this was just another day. We appreciated this as we would probably not have been able to find another hotel nearby as residents were filling up rooms as they dealt with being without power for several days in a row. The hotel is conveniently located to shops and restaurants as well as to UNH (10 minutes). Our room was clean and spacious. There is a pool and hot tub but it is in the main building so we did not make the trek through the cold to get to it. Continental breakfast was ample to hold us over until lunch.
