We are located on tristate area called Sioux land, I-29 runs N-S is 1 mile from motel, we are located on Business US-20 and US-20 and 75 are less then 1 mile. US 77 starts from near our motel. Lewis and Clark interpretive center, Trinity Heights, Sergeant Floyd Monument, River front Casino, Historic 4th street, Tyson event center, are within 3 mile from Motel. Worlds largest Honey association, Ice Capitol of world and University of South Dakota in with in 40 miles When you stay at Budget Host Inn, you will find exceptional quality and value. It was so-so

A little out of the way. In a bad neighborhood. Room was just ok. Pillowcases stained or just not clean. Two nights stay and not even one warm shower. Water was not hot at any time, barely warm at best. Had to wait for over 30 minutes to get checked in because wife was left alone to run the place and she did not speak english. Could not use credit or debit card, the card reader didn't work.There was no internet available was also not working. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

Two-star should be No-Star

We used to stay here when it still had a swimming pool and was just a nice clean, quiet 'mom & pop' hotel. That was a couple of years ago. It has really gone downhill since then. [...] The rooms were somewhat clean but the bedding was threadbare and had cigarette burns in them. The soap looked like it had been used once or twice and then re-wrapped...I'm not kidding. Partying all night long in rooms next to ours...looks like people living there by the week. And the swimming pool has been filled in with dirt and reseeded. I would not recommend this motel to anyone anymore.

Nice and cheap place

It is just a mile away from the Iowa-part of the city, and the bus terminal can easily be reached by foot. Unfortunately the wireless internet connection was broken when a heavy truck parked between my room and the lobby.
